Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell Admit They Are In Couples Counseling, Explain Why

Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell met and fell in love on The Bachelor. This couple is now going strong, but they have problems just like any other couple. The entire world is about to get to see how Ben and Lauren are doing on their new reality show Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? which premieres Oct. 11 on Freeform. People is now revealing that Ben and Lauren admitted that they have been going to couples counseling. Is there trouble in paradise for these two?

Ben is admitting that they are not a perfect couple, but not many couples are. They got engaged ten months ago, and now Lauren is living with Ben in Colorado. The couple has been busy filming their new reality show. Lauren Bushnell explained to fans that not everything is perfect, even though they do love each other.

“There are so many weird elements to being in a relationship after The Bachelor. We’ve gotten in arguments like any other couple, but about some things that other couples wouldn’t have to fight about, like the fact that we met when he was dating other women. You can say that’s what I signed up for, but it’s still real life and it’s still hard.”

Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins are doing everything that they can to make their relationship work, and this means even going to couples counseling at their local church. It is all worth it to them if it works, though. Ben explained the reasons that they have decided to do counseling.

“We want to get a foundation that is healthy and pure and honest, with some help from a mediator. Bachelor or not, our life is not easy to navigate. We have our struggles. But we won’t give up. And for every argument, we’re stronger for it.”

Lauren shared that she wants to spend her life with Ben no matter what. The idea of running away from their relationship was something she would have never done. Instead, they are pushing through any issues and now doing their own reality television show where viewers can see about their life together.

E! Online shared that Ben and Lauren are supporting Nick Viall on his journey as The Bachelor 2017. They were able to find love on the show and hope that Nick can do the same, but they did have some advice for him and really didn’t hold back at all. Nick already knows how the show works, but he hasn’t been on this side of it yet. Ben Higgins shared their advice for Nick.

“Be honest, be open, be ready for one of the most exciting but also most emotionally taxing experiences of your life. Stay true to yourself, and if you do that, at the end of this, no matter what happens, it’ll be worth it.”

Lauren Bushnell also shared that their show is going to be very real. Ben and Lauren are not going to censor things from their fans, and you will get to see everything. They are going to show the good and the bad so that it will let fans in on their real life. They will be wedding planning, and there have already been spoilers that this couple will have several different people from Bachelor Nation on their show. This is one show that you will not want to miss if you are a fan of this franchise.
