Angelina Jolie’s Former Nanny Doesn’t Want Brad Pitt Shut Out Of Their Kids’ Lives

The former nanny of Angelina Jolie has spoken out about her high-profile split from Brad Pitt and the impact it could have on their six children.

According to a new report, Krisann Morel, 63, looked after Jolie when she was younger and was close to the 41-year-old actress’s late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away in 2007 after battling breast and ovarian cancer.

“I’m speaking out because I want to send a message to [Angelina Jolie], who I care about very much,” Morel told Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine, via a report by The Mirror on October 3. “I want to tell her, ‘Please don’t cut Brad out of the children’s lives. Don’t use the children as weapons in your divorce. And don’t demonize your husband.'”

After separating in mid-September, Angelina Jolie filed divorce documents against Brad Pitt and cited his anger issues and alleged drug and alcohol use as her reason behind requesting full physical custody of their children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight.

Angelina Jolie’s request for full custody took many by surprise, as did her claims against Pitt. Then, in another shocking moment, it was revealed that Pitt had allegedly taken physical action against Maddox during a dispute on their private jet last month. A short time later, Pitt was targeted with a child abuse investigation and in turn, he was placed on supervised visitation with his kids.

“He can’t stand the fact that he has to have supervised visits with his children,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life. “He’s playing along but he is so insulted and he can’t believe how drastically his life changed in a matter of weeks.”

While there has been no evidence proving Pitt was ever violent with any single one of his children, the investigation against him has continued and will likely play a major role in his custody battle with Angelina Jolie.

In other news regarding Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, their six children are said to be upset about their breakup and hoping that the couple can work things out and come back together as a family.

“The kids are devastated and confused about why their parents are suddenly apart,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “They are all nagging [Angelina Jolie] to get back together with their dad and have everything be back to normal.”

Meanwhile, Pitt is said to be feeling the same way about a possible reconciliation with his now-estranged wife.

“He’s still in love with [Angelina Jolie],” another source told the outlet. “He’s in zero rush to start another relationship, and has no interest in a rebound type thing.”

Throughout the past couple of months, Pitt has been linked to his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard, but like the allegations of abuse against him, there has been no evidence of a secret relationship. In addition, Cotillard took to Instagram after news broke of Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing and told her fans and followers that she was loyal to one man, Guillaume Canet. In her post, Cotillard revealed she and Canet have one young son and another on the way and said that she wishes Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie well as they endure this tumultuous moment.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have remained apart since her divorce filing last month. As for their kids, they have been staying with their mother at a Los Angeles home she recently rented.
