Kim Kardashian Robbery A Hoax? Some Are Saying Details Of Paris Incident Don’t Add Up [Video]

On Sunday night, the world was stunned when the news broke that super-famous reality TV star Kim Kardashian had been the victim of a brazen, multi-million dollar robbery; now many are calling the terrifying story nothing but a flimsy, publicity-seeking hoax. Among the first people in the U.S. to learn of the Kim Kardashian robbery were those attending a Kanye West concert in Queens, New York.

Fans of the rapper were stunned, disappointed, and even angry when he cut his show short, citing a “family emergency” before quickly exiting the stage.

A short time later, international mainstream media outlets and tabloids broke the news that something unthinkable had reportedly gone down in Paris. According to the initial story, Kim Kardashian was robbed by five masked men at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room. As Fox News reports, it didn’t take long for people to start wondering whether or not Kim Kardashian’s robbery story was a hoax.

According to several media outlets, there were plenty of details regarding the Paris robbery, a robbery in which Kim Kardashian was reportedly tied up in a hotel bathroom, had her life threatened, and had roughly $10 million worth of extravagant jewelry stolen. The robbery has created a media frenzy, and many are wondering how in the world the alleged robbers got to Kim Kardashian’s super-posh hotel room in the first place. Let alone without being caught on any security cameras.

Private investigator Patricia D’Orsa-Dijamco had some pretty pointed questions about the Kim Kardashian robbery, questions that lend credence to the theory that it could have been a very successful publicity stunt and hoax rather than a “real” crime against a Kardashian.

“How did Kardashian free herself from being tied up in the bathroom? Or who found Kardashian in the hotel room or bathroom? Where was her security and hotel security personnel or hotel security cameras? If this was a publicity stunt, she could be in big trouble for making a false police report. Does ‘Ryan Lochte’ sound familiar?”

As New York Daily News reports, the very fact that five armed men were able to get close enough to Kim Kardashian at her exclusive hotel to rob her at gunpoint lends credence to the idea that the robbery story is a hoax. Reportedly, they accosted the hotel’s concierge (also unidentified) in order to get to Kim, but where in the world was Kim Kardashian’s personal security during the robbery? These and dozens of other little questionable details surrounding the Kim Kardashian robbery account simply don’t seem to make a whole lot of sense to a whole lot of people.

Not to mention the very significant coincidence that the Kim Kardashian Paris robbery allegedly took place just a few short weeks before her floundering reality TV show, Keeping up with the Kardashians is scheduled to premiere for yet another season. That premiere is scheduled to take place on October 23.

If nothing else, Kim Kardashian’s mental anguish and the loss of her (most likely well insured) jewels was sublimely timed to place her squarely in the media spotlight just as her show is expected to return to TVs everywhere.

Media outlets are also reportedly questioning the lack of a response by Paris authorities following the alleged robbery of Kim Kardashian. So far, the only person who has relayed the story of the robbery to the media has been an unidentified rep of Kim Kardashian. Neither Paris police nor any political figures in the city or nation of France have spoken out about how such a high-profile and presumably well-secured celebrity could become the victim of such a horrible crime in the City of Lights. There are now even rumors swirling that Paris police believe that the Kim Kardashian robbery was, if not a hoax, an inside job.

No official word on suspects (suspects who escaped the scene of the crime on bicycles, according to the Kardashian version of the robbery story), no official word on whether security footage from nearby locations may exist, no official word on anything. Not to mention that the story has been all but ignored by the French press. Oh, and Kim Kardashian reportedly took off just hours after the crime was committed, heading back to New York to see her husband, Kanye West.

The same husband that cut his concert short to attend to a “family emergency.” However, according to all accounts, Mr. Kim Kardashian didn’t head to his wife’s side after getting the word that she had been threatened by five men with guns, begged for her life, been robbed to the tune of $10 million, and then left tied up in a Paris bathroom. Instead, he holed up in Manhattan waiting.

As New York Daily News is reporting, the Kim Kardashian robbery story (or hoax, depending on who you ask) may simply be a story that’s “too good to be true.”
