‘Married At First Sight’ Season 4 Spoilers: Sonia Moves Back With Nick? Says She Sees A Future With Him

Married At First Sight Season 4 returns with an all-new episode this Tuesday, October 4, titled “To Love and To Cherish.” In a new sneak peek clip for Episode 11, Nick Pendergrast and Sonia Granados seemed to be very well on the road to reconciliation. Could the MAFS couple make it after the six-week social experiment is over?

Nick and Sonia had quite a rocky start to their marriage. Sonia always felt that Nick wasn’t as attracted to her as she was with him. Unfortunately, her fears were confirmed in the last couple of MAFS episodes. Annoyed by how Sonia kept asking him to open about his feelings, Nick eventually lashed out at his wife.

“What is opening up? What do you want me top open up about? Tell me! I don’t like her! That’s opening up! I can’t open up any more than that. I don’t think she’s attractive, and I’m not attracted to her, and that is me opening up to the fullest f**king extent,” he said.

Nick’s sudden outburst led Sonia to leave the house. However, after speaking to Married At First Sight Season 4 expert Pastor Calvin Roberson, Nick and Sonia agreed to give their marriage another chance. Nick apologized and told her that he is willing to give her the space she needed until she feels comfortable enough to return home and start rebuilding what they had.

Pastor Cal then gave Nick and Sonia an assignment, to take each other to a place that holds a very dear and personal memory for each of them and talk about what made it special. After spending the day together, Sonia revealed that she still sees Nick in her future. Although she is not ready to return to their home just yet, she is not giving up on the Married At First Sight experiment.

“I think I’ve met many false loves of my life and not the real one, not the one that I can see my life with, married and kids, all the good stuff. But I think I can see that with Nick. So I’m going to try my hardest.”

Nick, on the other hand, also felt very optimistic after the day they just had. Even if they’ve hit a few bumps in the road, he hoped that they will stay married until the end, or at least develop a really good friendship.

“I’m feeling very positive about how far we’ve come in a very short period of time. I would really like Sonia to move back in but I’m willing to wait for her. I think its achievable to get to a better place, develop our relationship even more, and eventually get to the point where we both want to be,” he shared.

With Sonia leaving their home, some Married At First Sight Season 4 fans may think that it will be the end for the couple. Spoilers for Episode 11, via Us Weekly, however, revealed that a bit of space could actually be good for the couple. Turns out, Nick has finally realized the impact Sonia has in his life.

“I miss my wife. She’s a great person, she’s got a great heart, and she is very attractive. Whenever she feels willing to move back, then she is welcome back.”

Sonia, on the other hand, admitted that she has considered moving back in with Nick. However, she wanted to make sure that Nick is in it for the long haul, that he is not doing this just for show.

“I’ve considered moving back in. What I need from Nick is this effort that he’s putting forth right now, that it’s continual,” she explained.
