Ariel Winter Stunning In Kylie Jenner’s Dress, How She Deals With Body-Shamers

Ariel Winter wore Kylie Jenner’s dress to Emmys 2016 last month, according to Us Magazine. The 18-year-old Modern Family actress didn’t want to wear anything else other than the dress that Jenner wore just the week before.

Ariel Winter and Jenner’s dress was an illusion gown that featured art deco–inspired silver beading created by Yousef Al-Jasmi. While Winter’s dress featured a high slit, Jenner opted for a mid-thigh type of the same gown.

Ariel Winter complemented her look with diamond studs and metallic ankle-strap sandals. Speaking to an E! Online reporter on the red carpet, the Modern Family actress admitted that it’s sparkly and she feels “really good” in it.

And most importantly, Ariel Winter fell in love with it immediately after she saw it. And while the actress didn’t say it was Jenner she had seen the dress on, there is a 99 percent chance that it was the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star who inspired Winter with the look, as she boasted this sparkly dress just the week before.

“I saw it, I tried it on and was like, ‘This is what I want to wear.’ And that was that.”

It was a mid-thigh type of this sparkly gown, and Jenner looked like a queen in it during the New York Fashion Week on September 8. And Although Jenner and Ariel Winter’s body types are different, both the model and the actress looked equally stunning in the dress.

While Ariel Winter opted for a more red carpety-look, Jenner had a more casual look as she complemented the dress with a denim jacket and see-through shoes from her brother-in-law Kanye West’s latest collection.

But Ariel Winter’s dress at the Emmy Awards 2016 hasn’t been her only look that made headlines recently, according to the Daily Mail. Just hours before appearing at the Emmys, Winter stocked up on groceries not wearing a bra.

But don’t worry, Ariel Winter still had a white T-shirt. The actress complemented the look with casual gray track pants that featured the word “Love” on them. But probably the best detail of her look was a pair of gold framed aviators with rose ombré lenses.

And of course some of Ariel Winter’s haters body shamed the actress on both her Emmys and pre-Emmys looks, but she couldn’t care less about them, according to People magazine. The actress had recently opened up about her insecurities about her body when she was younger.

Attending the Entertainment Weekly‘s Pre-Emmy Party on Friday, Ariel Winter revealed that she has nothing but love for her curves. And although the Modern Family actress says she was insecure about her body when she was younger, she eventually learned to accept her body.

“But then as I got older, I was surrounded by people like Sofia Vergara and people who were curvier like me and were proud of it.”

Aside from her Modern Family co-star Vergara, Ariel Winter also found inspiration in other curvy ladies who were “showing it off.” The actress revealed that watching those women be happy helped her to “move forward” and be proud of her body.

In fact, not only does Ariel Winter loves her body but also defends it from body shamers. This summer, Winter defended her form-fitting pink dress she wore at her high school graduation party. And while body shamers criticized not only her outfit but also her body, the actress says she loves and accepts her figure.

And while Ariel Winter admits that it has taken her a while to accept her body, the actress doesn’t want to change because this is who she is.
