Brad Pitt Involved With Marion Cotillard, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Aniston Before Angelina Jolie Divorce?

Will the world ever really know what caused Angelina Jolie to divorce Brad Pitt? Rumors range from anger, substance abuse and even child abuse allegations to her discovery that her actor husband was cheating with another women. And thus far, the cheating claims are pointing to not just one, but potentially three other women in Pitt’s life.

Marion Cotillard

One cheating report claims that Angelina filed for divorce from Brad when she discovered that he was cheating on her with Marion Cotillard, his co-star, according to an insider cited by Page Six.

“She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw,” declared the source.

Throughout the filming of Allied, a World War II drama shot partly in London, rumors swirled that Pitt, 52, was getting intimate with co-star Cotillard, 40. The insider revealed that a private investigator uncovered the affair between Brad and Marion, and the investigator also discovered that while the actor was cheating, he was also partying, according to the source.

“The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it. He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up.”

However, a Cotillard insider contradicted the rumors that the actress had an affair with Pitt, noting that she remains involved with her partner Guillaume Canet, a French actor and director.

“They are still very much together. They have been a couple since 2007 and have one child but have never married,” shared the source said about Marion and her partner.

Jennifer Aniston

Brad’s former wife, Jennifer Aniston, also has repeatedly been rumored to have given Angelina a reason to be jealous. Even prior to the official confirmation that Jolie was divorcing Pitt, recurring reports claimed that Angelina was angry that her husband was still in touch with Jennifer.

Selena Gomez

Teen Vogue noted that speculation about what caused the breakup included Cotillard and Aniston, but it’s Selena Gomez whose name seems to be the most shocking. Initially, Selena’s name was mentioned because of allegations that Angelina was jealous when Gomez posed for a photo with Brad.

That picture, which Selena shared on her Instagram eight months ago, stems from the 2016 Golden Globes. Gomez is shown chatting with the actor, and even set the context in her caption.

“just discussing #TheBigShort,” explained Selena.

Third Party Involved?

Although Brad’s history of having a marriage end when he has an affair with a third person (hint: Jennifer Aniston) has continued to cause speculation that another woman is to blame from Angelina’s decision to divorce him, there’s a different take on the situation from some media outlets.

TMZ reported that the last straw was not a third person, but “a conflict over the kids, substance abuse and anger,” citing sources who revealed that rather than being frustrated over her husband’s relationships with other women, Jolie was “fed up” with his alleged use of alcohol and weed.

Combined with an “anger problem,” the substance abuse allegedly led to her decision to divorce Pitt to protect the children.
