‘Miserable’ Ben Affleck Drinking Too Much And ‘Unable To Move On’ From Jennifer Garner

There might be a good reason why Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner spend so much time together.

Despite announcing their divorce over a year ago, the estranged couple are constantly spotted in public. Now, it sounds like Affleck is so miserable with life that nobody else wants to be his friend.

“Ben is just too miserable for anyone to want to hang around,” a source told Radar Online. “He can’t find anyone interested in him with all his baggage.”

Affleck’s best friend Matt Damon — who never got along with Garner — has tried to get his pal a date. So far, Latin Times reports the matchmaker hasn’t had any success with the Batman v Superman star.

“He’s been introducing him to girls, but Ben’s lost his confidence and women are just turned off… Ben’s a total wreck right now, working way too hard and looking really bad.”

The source continued, “Even Jen has told him he looks tired and grumpy at the moment — and she’s one-hundred percent right.”

Garner and Affleck shocked fans when they announced their split in the summer of 2015. The couple was married for 10 years and have 3 children together.

Despite the breakup, Affleck and Garner to live in the same house and have not finalized their divorce. They have even gone on multiple family vacations together and are constantly seen spending time in public together.

Because of their closeness, rumors about the nature of their relationship have run rampant.

It’s still unclear what is happening behind the scenes, but Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Garner is the one who doesn’t want Affleck to move on.

The actress has allegedly sabotaged Ben Affleck’s relationship with other women out of jealousy. She even gave him a warning about seeing others and made him feel guilty about moving on with his life.

Affleck hasn’t taken the warnings kindly and is reportedly tired of Garner’s antics.

Still, the actor has trouble juggling being a father to his three children while finding new love along the way.

To improve the situation, Affleck told Garner that he needs some space to move on.

“He thought they were falling into old patterns again,” an inside source revealed. “He feels he can date other people and still be a good dad. She thought they could get back together, so it totally blindsided her. It’s been difficult for her to deal with.”

If Affleck is tired of how Garner is handling the situation, then why are they still together?

Apparently, the two are keeping the family together in order to preserve their public image. Neither of them want to be painted as the villain in the relationship and need to look good to the public for the sake of their movie careers.

This would explain their unique arrangement following the divorce and why they are sticking together even though Affleck looks absolutely miserable whenever he’s around Garner.

The only question remaining is how long Affleck and Garner can keep up their living arrangement without things blowing up.

So far, Affleck has done a good job being a father and spending time with his family in the middle of his busy career.

In fact, fans have spotted him hanging out with Garner and the kids on several different occasions. Clearly, Affleck has not given up on the idea of co-parenting with his estranged wife.

Whether or not the actor slips into his old ways of drinking, partying, and dating other women is yet to be seen.

Neither Garner nor Ben Affleck has commented about the rumors surrounding their marriage and their plans to finalize the divorce or reconcile.
