‘This Is Us’ Spoilers: Are Kate And Toby Splitting Up?
NBC’s hit show This is Us is the subject of a lot of speculation, so it makes sense that This is Us spoilers hit the web the minute we start preparing for a new episode of the show to come out. And in this latest round of This is Us spoilers, it looks like one of our favorite couples is over before it even had a chance to get started!

TV Guide is the first to bring us these latest This is Us spoilers about Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan). We’ll recall that Kate met Toby while in a group weight loss therapy class, and the two have been having a bit of fun all over Los Angeles. However, Kate is also very close to her brother, Kevin (Justin Hartley), who — after storming off the set of his hit show The Manny — wants to move to New York City to pursue a career in theater. With her mother and her other brother, Spencer, already on the East Coast, Kate will have to decide if she wants to stay on the West Coast or if she wants to move back East with the rest of her family… and it doesn’t look like she’ll make the choice that’s best for her. Does this mean that this is the end of Kate and Toby?
Meanwhile, other This is Us spoilers brought to us courtesy of Entertainment Weekly suggest that there will be a new member of the already-large clan, and he’s a familiar face: True Blood‘s Sam Trammell! Trammell, last seen on the big screen in the soppy The Fault in Our Stars, will be playing Ben, who’s the lead singer of a popular blues band. And though it’s currently unclear as to how Ben will play into the underlying story — especially since he’s a new add, now that NBC has ordered a full season of the show — Entertainment Weekly promises that his character will be a “recurring” one who will play an important role in the family’s life in the coming episodes.
Given that This is Us loves to surprise its audience with twists, at the end, it should be interesting to see if — and how — Ben’s role will be a “twist.”
Finally, Celebrity Dirty Laundry gives us their own set of This is Us spoilers, and they provide us with some much-needed insight into the family dynamic. The new episode, which will air on Thursday, October 11th, is entitled “Kyle” and talks about the baby that was stillborn. Jack returns to Dr. Katowsky because Rebecca isn’t bonding with the babies the way he thinks she should, whereas Jack’s taken quickly to being a new father. Dr. Katowsky assures Jack that Rebecca will bond with the babies in her own time, and in her own way.
Meanwhile, in the present, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) is still dealing with the fallout of finding his biological father and realizing that he may have end-stage stomach cancer. Randall is trying desperately, to save his biological father’s life by taking him to a series of specialists, but will he fill that hole in his soul? Is William really “clean” as he promises, simply going to Philadelphia to feed his cat, Clooney? And will Randall be able to save his father before it’s too late, or has he met his father too late?
