Donald And Ivanka Sitting In A Tree: Donald Trump’s History Of Perverse, Incestuous Comments About His Daughter

Donald Trump is notorious for bringing up how sexy he finds his daughter Ivanka. More often than not Trump will mention Ivanka’s appearance unprovoked anytime he can. The Republican presidential candidate has made inappropriate comments about his oldest daughter during television interviews and radio spots, and he’s even brought up Ivanka’s appearance at campaign rallies.

Donald Trump and Ivanka’s creepy relationship has gotten some renewed attention since former contestants and crew of Apprentice reported on Trump’s history of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior with women.

When Ivanka was just 21, Trump made one of his better known references to his daughter’s body. While appearing on Howard Stern’s radio show in 2003, Trump told Stern, “You know who is one of the great beauties of the world, and I helped create her? Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s six feet tall. She’s got the best body. She made a lot of money as a model—a tremendous amount. And then she went cold turkey and gave it all up, because she had to go to college. Because I wanted her to go to college. She goes to the best college.”

Trump putting his daughter on a sex pedestal doesn’t end there, including times Ivanka has even been in the room when her father makes these comments. She has sat alongside Trump at various times when he’s made references to her sex appeal and her body in a non-familial way.

Ivanka has been an avid supporter of her father’s presidential campaign, but she has also made numerous TV appearances alongside him. While promoting Apprentice in 2006, Trump was asked how he would react if Ivanka appeared on the cover of Playboy. Trump answered in a nonchalant and tone-deaf way, “I would be disappointed…not really.” He goes on to say, “I don’t think Ivanka would do that in the magazine, but she does have a very nice figure.”

However, that certainly wasn’t the last time Trump talked about Ivanka’s body. A recent expose revealed that Trump frequently harassed women on the set of Apprentice and compared them to his daughter when he found them attractive.

Huffington Post reports that eight former Apprentice camerawomen were hit on by Trump and he always brought up Ivanka when he did it. When the cameras weren’t rolling, Trump frequently singled out female contestants and asked male participants who they would sleep with. The real estate mogul even asked one contestant to do a spin for him so she could ogle her from all angles.

Poppy Carlig, the one-time Apprentice contestant that Trump asked to spin, wasn’t put off by the request. According to Jezebel, Carlig commented on the incident, “I don’t immediately jump to the conclusion that people are having bad intentions with what they are saying. He said I reminded him of his daughter and I thought that was really touching because I know how much he values his family.”

That statement and many others simply adds to the pile of evidence that Trump has an unhealthy fascination with his daughter’s body and sexuality. As recently as the Republican National Convention in July, Trump has allegedly inappropriately touched his daughter. As Ivanka was leaving the RNC stage in Cleveland, Trump patted her on the arms and hips, sending a shiver down the spines of the female population of the United States.

Because of Trump’s negative reputation with women, the Apprentice scandal just piles on top of more bad news for the Trump campaign; however, campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks is trying to spin the situation as best she can.

The spokesperson said, “These outlandish, unsubstantiated, and totally false claims fabricated by publicity hungry, opportunistic, disgruntled former employees, have no merit whatsoever. The Apprentice was one of the most successful prime-time television shows of all time and employed hundreds of people over many years, many of whom support Mr. Trump’s candidacy.”

Ivanka, who has been one of the few people to laud women’s rights during her father’s campaign, has made no comment about the Apprentice accusations or her father’s obsession with her figure.
