‘Teen Mom OG’ Stars Maci Bookout, Taylor McKinney Prepare To Get Married: What’s Known So Far About Their Big Day?
Monday night on Teen Mom OG, viewers will watch as Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney welcome their second baby together. In the real world, that baby is several months old now, and Maci and Taylor are on the brink of getting married. What’s the scoop on their wedding day and where do things stand for the family now?
As TV Guide details, the October 3 show is titled “Mother’s Day” and it will feature Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney welcoming their new baby, their second together. In addition, this episode of Teen Mom OG will show Gary Shirley working to co-parent with Amber Portwood, but the two are struggling to make this work.
As OK! notes, Maci and Taylor did not have MTV cameras in the delivery room as they welcomed this new family member. Baby boy Maverick Reed McKinney was born on May 31 and he joined big brother Bentley, who is Bookout’s son with former beau Ryan Edwards, and sister Jayde Carter, the daughter that the Teen Mom OG couple welcomed a year ago. Viewers may not be in the delivery room with the McKinney family for this big event, but previews for Monday’s episode indicate that some of the family’s personal video footage will be shared, and fans cannot wait to see Bentley and Jayde meet Maverick.
Maci and Taylor may still be working on adjusting to having another baby in the McKinney house, but they are also working on getting married and it looks like things are going quite smoothly for them these days. Bookout recently had a bachelorette party in Las Vegas and the word is that the Teen Mom OG stars will be getting married in Florida this coming weekend. MTV’s cameras reportedly will be filming the nuptials for an upcoming episode of the series, and most of the show’s stars will be there.
However, one Teen Mom OG cast member was left off of the guest list. Farrah Abraham did not score an invitation, but she told Radar Online that she wasn’t interested in attending anyway. As viewers have seen in recent episodes, these two women have been at odds since Abraham’s return, with things getting so heated that Bookout has kept Bentley away from the cameras because of her co-star’s adult film antics.
From the looks of her social media these days, Bookout isn’t too stressed about her upcoming wedding day, as she’s been tweeting about various appearances, football games, and other every day activities. However, the bride-to-be is clearly quite excited about her big day, and she recently shared some of the engagement photos she had taken with Taylor not long ago.
Along with the engagement photos, Bookout wrote that McKinney is the safety that holds her when she reaches for another star and she says that they are best friends, a team, and always better together. Teen Mom OG fans clearly adore these two together, as the post with the engagement shots garnered more than 480,000 “likes” and more than 5,000 comments in just a week.
As for her wedding, only a handful of details are known at this point. Maci shared with OK! that she has a custom-designed wedding dress and she was flown with her mother to London to attend a fashion show of the designer. She says the dress is going to be everything she wanted and it’ll be perfect. It looks like all of the key details are in place and Teen Mom OG fans will be stalking social media during the upcoming weekend to see if Maci and Ryan share any details on the big event.
