October 4: ‘GTA Online’ Biker Update Includes A ‘GTA 4’ Motorcycle? ‘Minecraft’ New DLC For Consoles Also Set For Release

Fans of highly popular video games Grand Theft Auto and Minecraft have something to look forward to come October 4. Minecraft: Console Edition is getting an update, as well as Rockstar’s GTA Online.

According to Rockstar Newswire, GTA Online’s Biker DLC will arrive as an automatic update on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This newest addition to the multiplayer online mode of the open world action-adventure RPG “brings underground Motorcycle Clubs to the forefront of the Los Santos and Blaine County criminal underworld with a rash of all new competitive and co-operative gameplay as well as new modes, vehicles, weapons, clothing and much more,” the post revealed.

The GTA Online Biker DLC update will enable players to create and lead their own Motorcycle Club with a maximum of 8 players. “Bikers will introduce new roles to play from fresh Prospects to club Presidents with a massive slate of new competitive and co-op gameplay, along with a range of new motorcycles, properties that include MC Clubhouses with a special custom Biker mechanic, and venues for seedy business ventures,” Mojang explained in an earlier post.

It was mentioned above that new modes are going to be part of GTA Online Biker DLC update. And to further support this, a recent tweet from @Yan2295 with attached screenshots hinted that the GTA maker is creating a new category of game modes come the release of GTA Online Biker DLC update this Tuesday.

GTA fans quickly formed their speculations about these alleged upcoming game modes from Biker DLC. For instance, @ThoMass3630 noted in his Twitter post that it could probably be a new mode where gamers have to kill other players using melee weapons while on bikes. Jousting came out as well as one of the assumed game modes, posted by @BurnzeehxD.

iDigitalTimes also reported other possible contents that may arrive in GTA Online Biker DLC update, based on the images posted in the Rockstar Newswire. According to the observations made by the hawk-eyed fans, in one of the photos, there’s a bike concealed behind the man in the Enforcer jacket. And speculations were made that this bike could be the Lycan, a motorcycle that first appeared in GTA 4. Another hidden bike could also be a variant of the new Western Rat Bike. “Expect the new Bikers DLC to deliver many bikes from the GTA 4 The Lost And Damned expansion,” the post further shared.

Meanwhile, fans of Mojang’s sandbox video game should also anticipate a huge DLC update on October 4, particularly for the console editions. A previous report from the Inquisitr shared that the Chinese Mythology Mash-Up Pack for Minecraft: Console Editions is set to arrive this Tuesday, priced at $4.99. Mojang’s official blog post reads below.

“There are loads of good things on their way to Console Edition this fall. The Chinese Mythology Mash-Up pack arrives, bringing with it an exquisitely crafted world inspired by the myths of the far East: there are ancient cities to explore, gargantuan sculptures to gawp at and cherry blossom aplenty. Beware, though — there’s a reason they call this the land of dragons!”

The upcoming Minecraft update coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS Vita & Wii U will also include 13-themed music tracks as well as 41 new skins. There’s also going to be a special map to be utilized in the Battle Mini Game released by Mojang in June.
