Mick Jagger look-alike

Harry Styles May Play Mick Jagger, But Biopic Could Expose More Links

Harry Styles and Mick Jagger have been cited as doppelgangers for a long time, and there are strong rumors that Harry might play Mick in a biopic. Regardless, are there similarities in their life stories that might raise some eyebrows among One Direction fans?

Harry Styles finished up Dunkirk and then went straight into his solo music contract with Columbia Records around June, according to Time.

Since the end of his work with Dunkirk, Harry Styles has been seen out in Hollywood where he recently sold an old mansion and bought a new one.

One Direction fans want to know what Harry Styles is up to in Hollywood, but his social media has been quiet and therefore it is difficult to ascertain if he is there to flirt with Kendall Jenner, record music, or work on a new rumored project with Mick Jagger.

Although many suggestions for Harry Styles’ new music are out there, Billboard claims that Harry Styles’ music should be influenced by Mick Jagger and listed five songs for inspiration.

Regardless, there are several promising theories about why it is almost written in the stars that Harry Styles should play Mick Jagger in a movie about his band The Rolling Stones, according to several 1D fans on an IMDb forum.

Nonetheless, this speculation about Harry Styles being cast as Mick Jagger has not officially been confirmed by Harper’s Bazaar or others.

Around June 16, it was reported that Harry Styles might be playing Mick Jagger in a film that is based on Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones, by Robert Greenfield.

Key words to associate with this Harry Styles rumor include that it will be directed by Andy Goddard of Downton Abbey fame. This will also be a period piece for Harry Styles since it is about The Rolling Stones recording their album Exile on Main Street in 1971. The actual screenplay writers are brothers Brandon and Philip Murphy.

Furthermore, it is allegedly going to be filmed this winter, and Virgin Produced, City Entertainment, KippSter Entertainment, and The Gotham Group are producing the project, according to Deadline.

Despite the fact that most movies are filmed in Hollywood, the movie about the album Exile on Main Street might not be filmed exclusively in Los Angeles where Mick Jagger and Harry Styles are currently residing.

Instead, a 2010 report from The Guardian about the true story behind recording Exile on Main Street states that the studio was on the French Riviera. In other words, Harry Styles’ first two movies might both be about a coastline in France where English men made history.

Of course, it is convenient that both Mick Jagger and Harry Styles are residing in the same geographic location, but Mick might be preoccupied and staying close to Hollywood for a different reason.

In the summer, it was reported by Daily Mail that Mick Jagger and his partner, Melanie Hamrick, will be expecting a baby as early as December 2016.

This will be Mick Jagger’s eighth child, and he will be 73 years old when the new baby arrives. This means that, like Louis Tomlinson, Mick Jagger might be too preoccupied with a new baby to hang out with Harry Styles.

What might be interesting if Mick Jagger and Harry Styles hang out is seeing if they agree that they have more in common than first meets the eye.

Interestingly, like One Direction, The Rolling Stones have kept fans in suspense because they quit making albums and touring during periods of time over the past 50 years.

Could this loyalty between The Rolling Stones be an important example for Harry Styles in order to keep One Direction going for the next decades? For example, Deadspin interviewed a Rolling Stones biography writer named Rich Cohen about his book The Sun & The Moon & The Rolling Stones.

When describing Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones when they were in their mid-20s in the early 1970s, Rich Cohen said the following about their loyalty to each other.

“Even though they’ve had all these problems, they were incredibly close, and deep down are like brothers who can’t really be taken apart from each other no matter what they say to each other. If you go back and watch interviews of Keith, anytime anybody starts ripping Jagger he immediately starts defending him. Which is exactly what you do with your brother.”

Naturally, Simon Cowell thinks Harry Styles and One Direction will be together until all of them are in the grave. On April 9, 2012, Rolling Stone (the magazine) interviewed Simon Cowell about his new band, One Direction, and they questioned him about how he would prevent burnout. About this topic, Simon Cowell said the following.

“Be sensible and treat them as human beings, genuinely. That’s the most important thing. Traditionally, record companies would put out the most possible product in a short period of time, thinking you only have two or three years. I don’t think that’s necessarily the case now. If you’re sensible and you don’t burn them out, you don’t have to put a time limit on this anymore. And they’re so young, these guys.”

Simon Cowell’s dream for One Direction to outlive him might be possible. In late 2015, Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones was reported to be denying breakup rumors and said that the band was going to be releasing a new album in the next year, according to Express.
