Demi Lovato & Camila Cabello Feuding? ‘Remember Where You Came From’

Are Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello locked in a nasty feud following a whole lot of social media drama?

Fans of the two popstars are speculating that Lovato and Cabello may just have gotten into a war of words on social media after Cabello seemingly took aim at Lovato after she made it known that she was less than thrilled by a piece of fan art sent to her by a fan.

Camila then appeared to allude to the drama on her official Instagram account after she posted a number of Fifth Harmony fan art drawings while giving a “shout out” to the artists, and now Demi appears to be hitting back on Twitter.

In a pretty scathing message on September 30, Lovato hit back on Twitter, “Remember where you came from,” which fans quickly linked to Cabello’s Instagram upload.

“Demi made [Fifth Harmony], Camila can sit down,” Twitter user @helloheartache tweeted out in response to the Demi and Camila feud, while @wymgrande wrote, “I find it funny Camila was shading Demi…If it wasn’t for Demi there would be no Fifth Harmony or famous Camila.”

Notably, Lovato’s fans were referring to Cabello’s start in Fifth Harmony, who were formed into a band during the second season of The X Factor USA back in 2012 after all five girls initially auditioned for the Fox singing show separately.

As viewers saw, Camila, Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui were then put together as a girl group by Simon Cowell and Demi, both of whom served as judges on the now-cancelled show.

It seemed like things were all good between Lovato and the Fifth Harmony girls in the years that followed, as Demi even told the girls that she was “proud” and loved them on social media in 2014.

“I’m SOOOO proud of @FifthHarmony… Seems like yesterday I watched their reactions to being formed to a girl group,” Demi tweeted out of Cabello and her bandmates two years ago. “I love you girls SO MUCH!”

But it looks like all that may now have changed, as Camila Cabello is being accused of throwing a whole lot of shade Demi’s way and igniting a feud after Lovato was blasted by her own fans for being “rude” and “disrespectful” to an artist over a piece of fan art.

According to Pop Crave, Demi Lovato felt some serious backlash from her fans after she called out an artist on Instagram who sent her a pencil drawing in which she was made to look like a mermaid.

“Is that how boobs should look?” Lovato commented on the fan art uploaded to the photo sharing site by Instagram artist @vladyart. “It’s gorgeous but that’s not my body,” added Demi.

The artist then made it known that they were left feeling pretty upset by Demi’s comments, writing on Instagram, “That’s how I imagine mermaids… I worked a lot on that drawing and I was proud of it, but not anymore.”

As Lovato began to feel the heat from her fans, Camila appeared to allude to Demi’s fan art drama on her own Instagram account where she posted a number of different drawings from Fifth Harmony fans and praised the artists who created them.

“A shout out to all the amazing and passionate artists out there,” Camila captioned the snap, which she posted just hours after Lovato was put on serious blast. “I can barely draw stick figures and look atchu doin yo thaaaang.”

But while fans accused Camila of slamming Demi and suggesting the two could now be locked in a nasty feud, Cabello took to Instagram to dispel the rumors, claiming on Snapchat that she was actually unaware of the drama surrounding Lovato’s Instagram comments.

Fifth Harmony update account Fifth Harmony Mexico posted a screen grab of Cabello’s September 30 Snapchat post, in which Camila told fans that she has “respect for every artist” as she dispelled the feud reports but did not mention Lovato by name.

“When people try to bring you into drama that you didn’t even know existed,” Camila wrote alongside a selfie that showed her face covered by an alien cartoon as the Lovato feud rumors swirled. “I have only respect for any artist… Don’t try to start beef that isn’t even there! Not today Satan!!!”
