Brad Pitt Was ‘Infatuated’ With Marion Cotillard On The Set Of ‘Allied’?
Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard continue to be faced with cheating rumors due to their time on and off of the set during the filming of Allied.
Although Cotillard recently spoke out against the rumors, and she made it clear that her partner, Guillaume Canet, and their children were all she needs, the rumors have pressed on. Canet is the father of her 5-year-old son, Marcel Canet, and the couple is currently expecting a second child together.
In the latest report, via In Touch Weekly, it has been noted that Brad Pitt was allegedly infatuated with Marion Cotillard during production of their World War II film, which is scheduled for release in November.
“Angelina was very jealous,” an insider told the magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life on September 29. “[She] thought Brad was infatuated with [Marion Cotillard] because he would talk so highly of her.”

In addition to being linked to Marion Cotillard while filming Allied, Brad Pitt was also accused of being involved with Lizzy Caplan, who also starred in the film. However, while Cotillard has addressed the reports, Caplan has chosen to stay silent.
“I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up,” Marion Cotillard wrote on Instagram last Tuesday. “Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need. Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn’t distressing. ”
Marion Cotillard went on to reveal that she wished Pitt and Jolie well as they navigate through their divorce and said she deeply respected them both. Meanwhile, despite her post, she hasn’t been able to silence the rumors about her and Pitt.

On the day after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce, an insider spoke to Page Six and claimed the actress had dumped her husband after discovering he had been cheating on her with Marion Cotillard. According to the report, Jolie hired an investigator during production after convincing herself that Pitt had been fooling around with Marion Cotillard. In turn, Jolie was allegedly informed that Pitt was not only cheating on her but also acting like a single guy on a mission.
“The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it,” the source said. “He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up.”
According to another report, Pitt’s alleged encounter with Marion Cotillard came during a time when Pitt and Jolie were facing marital trouble.
“Angelina totally believes that Brad had an affair with [Marion Cotillard] when they were shooting the movie,” a source told Hollywood Life days ago. “He had even commented to Angelina before they started shooting on how elegant and sexy Marion is.”
“During filming their relationship was especially strained,” the insider continued. “So the timing is particularly suspicious.”
Marion Cotillard has been dating Guillaume Canet for nearly a decade, and they share one young son, Marcel Canet. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt had been married to Jolie for 2 years, but he was involved in a relationship with her since at least 2005. The couple shares six children; Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and the twins, Vivienne and Knox, 8.
