Kim Kardashian’s first wedding was an extravagant, exploited  and highly publicized affair. For her next wedding, the reality star is planning to tone things down a bit.

Kardashian said:

“It had always been my dream to have a big wedding, and when people said that I’d made it over the top for the show, that was just me: I am over the top. But the next time, I want to do it on an island with just my friends and family and that’s it.”

Since Kardashian’s first wedding was so over the top, and her marriage was so short, many people have claimed that the reality star’s marriage to Kris Humphries was all about the money. Kardashian denies the rumors in a new issue of Tatler Magazine.

Kardashian said:

“I mean, that is just not the person I am. Who would honestly get married for ratings? It’s not like the ratings had dropped and we needed a boost. Never mind other peoples’ emotions -– who would mess with their own emotions in that way? And for me to do it and have it not work out was the most embarrassing thing. It was risking ruining my career.”

Kardashian and Humphries were married for just 72 days. Their divorce battle, which is still going on, has lasted longer than their marriage.
