You’re a fan of American Horror Story, right? Of course you are, why else would you be here? You want to see the trailer for AHS: Asylum.

The premiere hits TV in less than two weeks, but the anticipation for the sequel-series to last year’s cult hit American Horror Story is palpable. We’ve seen teaser photos and an extremely creepy TV promo, and some plot details have been confirmed. The first trailer for American Horror Story: Asylum shows everything in motion, and gives us a glimpse at new characters played by actors returning from last season (such as Jessica Lange in a turn as the cold and authoritative Sister Jude).

In the trailer, we meet Teresa and Leo (played by Jenna Dewan and Adam Levine, respectively) a newlywed couple on a haunted honeymoon tour. Their last stop is the now-defunct Briarcliff asylum, from which the series takes its name. The two characters are seemingly contemporary: It was previously revealed that the majority of the series will take place in the 1960s, and the trailer seems to indicate that the bulk of the action will be seen through flashbacks.

We’re then treated to several shots of a lesbian reporter played by Sarah Paulson (returning from last season) clashing with Lange’s Sister Jude after the latter immediately identifies Paulson’s character, Lana, as an atheist.

We also get a glimpse of returning cast members Zachary Quinto as Dr. Oliver Thredson, and Lily Rabe as Sister Mary Eunice. Largely absent from the clip is Evan Peters, who played the first season’s “monster” Tate Langdon, and returns this year as a character named Kit Walker.

We’re also treated to a look (and a few good lines) from Joseph Fiennes as Monsignor Timothy Howard.
