Gwen Stefani Wants An Engagement Ring From Blake Shelton On Her Birthday?
Gwen Stefani is celebrating her 47th birthday on October 3 and she’s planning to do so with her boyfriend, Blake Shelton.
According to a new report regarding the relationship between the couple, Gwen Stefani is hoping for one specific thing from her boyfriend of about one year: an engagement ring.
“They both are going to take a few days off to spend some quality time together,” a source told Hollywood Life. “[Gwen Stefani] is definitely expecting and hoping for a ring, and can’t wait to celebrate her birthday with Blake and her kids.”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began dating at the end of last year after Stefani’s divorce from Gavin Rossdale and Shelton’s split from Miranda Lambert. In November, after weeks of rumors, Gwen Stefani confirmed her romance with the country singer and later that night, they were spotted holding hands at a Country Music Awards after party in Nashville, Tennessee.

Shortly after going public, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were faced with rumors of a pregnancy and some reports claimed they were expecting twins. There were also allegations of plans to wed, but those reports were also untrue. That said, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been going strong ever since the start of their romance, and now, fans are waiting to see if and when they will tie the knot.
“[Gwen Stefani] and Blake are still going strong,” continues the source. “He wants to marry [Gwen Stefani], but has not told anyone his ideas or timing for popping the question. He is keeping that very close to his chest.”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been spending time as a family with Shelton’s three sons with Rossdale, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2, in recent months and as their relationship continues, they’ve reportedly become more and more serious about each other.

Weeks ago, a source spoke out and revealed that while Shelton hadn’t yet proposed to Gwen Stefani, an engagement could be coming soon as they have already been discussing the idea of marriage.
“Rumors are circulating in [Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s] circle that they’ve begun preparations for a wedding,” a source told People Magazine in early August. “There’s no date set, but they’re planning ahead and having fun talking about it.”
“Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, but [Gwen Stefani] is touring and busy. The time just hasn’t been right,” the source explained.
Gwen Stefani has been touring for the past few months and will continue her This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour until mid-October. Meanwhile, boyfriend Shelton has been busy film The Voice Season 11 in recent months and will continue doing so until sometime around December. He’s also been touring for the past couple of weeks and will remain on the road until October 8.
Despite their busy schedules, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton appear to be spending tons of time together. Even when they are on the road, Stefani and Shelton have continued to support one another and are often seen in the audience, and on stage, at one another’s shows. Most recently, Stefani joined Shelton at one of his shows where she treated his audience to an impromptu performance of her years-old hit “Hollaback Girl.”
“[Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] are madly in love, committed and planning for a future together,” the People Magazine source added.
