Justin Theroux & Courteney Cox Defend Jennifer Aniston From Brangelina Controversy

Jennifer Aniston is now happily married to Justin Theroux, but her name is still being dragged in the Brangelina controversy. It’s been more than 10 years since she got divorced from her ex-husband Brad Pitt, whom she was married to for five years. The Hollywood heartthrob allegedly cheated on her with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t work out and fans are eager to find out what the 47-year-old actress thinks and feels about their breakup.

The former Friends star tried to remain quiet amidst Brad and Angie’s divorce controversy, but her husband finally broke his silence. During an interview with Business Insider, the 45-year-old actor called the tabloid reports ‘nonsense’ because they keep on dragging his wife’s name into the marital issues of the Hollywood A-listers.

“There’s an endless appetite for trash, apparently, though everyone would say that they don’t have that appetite,” Theroux said. “But I think a lot of people do because people buy it.

“But there are bigger things to b—- about,” he added. “It’s shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world.”

Justin admitted that his parents got divorced as well when he was little, which is why he sympathizes with the Brad and Angelina’s six children. He also finds it horrible to give out any comment when people are having a bad time. However, it seems that he is left with no choice but to speak up so he can defend Jennifer from all the rumors.

Apart from Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston’s close friend Courteney Cox also tried to protect her from the Brangelina breakup controversy. During an interview with ET, the 52-year-old actress expressed her concern over the fact that her BFF is getting dragged into Brad and Angie’s shocking divorce drama.

“I feel like we’re exacerbating it by even talking about it,” Cox said. “It’s not about her [Jennifer].”

There were reports coming out regarding Jennifer Aniston’s reaction to Brad Pitt’s divorce. She allegedly thinks that what happened to her former husband was his karma for cheating on her. Inquisitr also reported that the Horrible Bosses actress already knew that her ex and his estranged wife would end up getting a divorce after being in a relationship for more than 10 years.

“She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually,” an insider told Us. “She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy.”

While Pitt and Jolie’s marriage crumbles, Aniston and Theroux’s relationship blossoms. The two secretly got married in August 2015 after dating for four years. They have managed to keep their love life away from the public, maybe to avoid all the rumors. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Justin revealed the secret to his successful relationship with Jennifer.

“We appreciate each other’s sense of humor, we respect one another and we get along,” he said. “I know it sounds simple but it’s true!”

Despite Brangelina’s shocking divorce news, Jen and her hubby tried to keep living a normal life. The two were spotted out on a date a few days ago and both looked stressed out, probably because of the paparazzi who wanted to get her comment on her ex-husband’s failed marriage.

According to The Sun, the couple looked very serious as they left a trendy restaurant in New York City. The blonde beauty was even caught hiding her face with her hands. Her husband was a perfect gentleman as he held his wife and led the way making sure that no one would disrupt their date. By showing up in public together, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux probably wanted everyone to know that they are not getting a divorce like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
