Watch Bangladesh Vs. Afghanistan Cricket 3rd ODI Live Stream — Start Time, Preview, Teams, As Tigers Go For Series Victory

After a return to ODI cricket after a 10-month absence, the Bangladesh Tigers saw it all go wrong as Afghanistan scored a startling two-wicket upset on Wednesday. The two nations now play their third and deciding One Day International match, a match that will stream live on Saturday, with Bangladesh looking to seal a series win — which would be their sixth in a row in 50-overs bilateral series, going back to November of 2014.

A victory for Bangladesh on Wednesday at Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium would be historic in another way for the Tigers — the win would be their 100th in ODI cricket.

In the history of Bangladesh cricket, the team has played 314 ODI matches, winning 99 and losing 211 with four no results. A full 16 of those wins have come during the current Bangladesh ODI hot streak.

In fact, in bilateral ODI series competition, not only has Bangladesh won five straight series, but the Tigers have won 16 of the 18 matches played over that span — including the narrow escape against Afghanistan in the first ODI Sunday.

“If Bangladesh succeeds tomorrow, the 100th win will be a remarkable achievement, and I want to reach this milestone in the next match and clinch the series,” Bangladesh Captain Mashrafe Mortaza said earlier in the week. “We look forward to play positive cricket, and hopefully the problems we had earlier will not affect our performance in the games ahead.”

Also in the first ODI, Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan claimed his 207th ODI wicket, making the left-arm spinner the leading wicket taker in the 50-overs format that Bangladesh has ever had. The record made Shakib the top wicket-taker for his country in all three formats of cricket — the only bowler in the world to boast that achievement for any national side.
