Justin Theroux Makes Statement On Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Divorce During Press Tour
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce shook Hollywood and no one should have felt the karma more than Jennifer Aniston. Until recently, neither Aniston nor her husband Justin Theroux have commented on the celebrity divorce news, but now Theroux is speaking out about Brangelina and how he feels about the end of their two-year marriage.
Justin Theroux is currently on a press tour as he drums up publicity for his new film The Girl On The Train, which is due in theaters on October 7. During a recent appearance, Theroux was asked about the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce news and he responded.
“As a child of divorce, all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children and that’s all you can really say,” Theroux responded when asked by Business Insider to comment on the Brangelina divorce news. “It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time — that’s horrible.”

“There’s an endless appetite for trash, apparently, though everyone would say that they don’t have that appetite,” Theroux continued. “But I think a lot of people do because people buy it. But there are bigger things to b***h about. It’s shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world.”
Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston married in 2015 and have been the subject of plenty of tabloid rumors themselves. This includes the never-ending recycled stories of Aniston’s pregnancies that never actually pan out. Theroux referred to Jennifer’s “involvement” in the Brad and Angelina divorce as “nonsense.” Although news of the Brangelina divorce produced some of the most entertaining memes revolving around Jennifer Aniston and karma, it can be noted that Aniston herself has refrained from commenting in any way about the news that her ex-husband Brad Pitt was in the middle of a very high-profile divorce from Angelina Jolie.
In the midst of the divorce, Brad Pitt has made it known that he is working on his “family situation” according to Us Weekly. Soon after learning that Angeline Jolie had filed divorce documents, it was also reported that the reason for the split was related to an incident just days earlier where Pitt was reportedly caught on film verbally and physically abusing his children on an airport tarmac. Reports claimed that Pitt was being investigated by police and the FBI for the incident, causing Jolie to scramble to divorce him and ask for sole physical custody of their children.

Brad Pitt was reportedly blindsided by the divorce filing. Pitt has opted not to appear at a screening for the documentary Voyage of Time that he narrated because of the divorce scandal. Instead, he issued this statement:
“Terrence’s Voyage of Time is an incredibly beautiful and unique experiential IMAX film for children and families chronicling the birth of time. I’m very grateful to be part of such a fascinating and educational project, but I’m currently focused on my family situation and don’t want to distract attention away from this extraordinary film, which I encourage everyone to see.”
Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt for five years. Their five-year marriage ended in 2005 after rumors that Pitt had cheated on Aniston with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. Brad and Angelina dated for 10 years before finally secretly tying the knot in 2014.
On September 19, it was widely reported that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. Rather than another cheating scandal, as was rumored in the tabloids, it turns out their split is being blamed on Pitt’s erratic behavior and issues in parenting that Jolie just can’t deal with anymore. Angelina and Brad have six children together: Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
