‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 5 Trailer: Katie And Tom Get Married, Jax And Brittany Nearly Break Up?

The cast of Vanderpump Rules is back for a fifth season.

On September 26, the trailer for the upcoming season was released by Bravo TV and in it was tons of relationship drama between Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz, and Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.

Although the wedding of Maloney and Schwartz is seen throughout the trailer, which was shared by E! News, the majority of the preview clips involved drama between the couple, including a fight about Maloney’s “dark side.”

Throughout Vanderpump Rules, fans have watched as Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz have gone through ups and downs and faced allegations of cheating. However, during Season 4 of the Bravo reality series, all of that appeared to be behind them when Schwartz proposed. Unfortunately, the trailer appears to show that Maloney and Schwartz’s issues didn’t end with the proposal. In fact, they may have intensified.

“I don’t want to see you like this, you f**king deserve better, dude,” Tom Sandoval tells Schwartz in one scene as Schwartz appears to fight back the tears.

“I’m just scared to commit to someone,” Schwartz later admits to Maloney.

“You put a ring on my f**king finger so stop throwing that in my f**king face,” Maloney responds.

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz have been dating since fans first met them during Vanderpump Rules Season 1, and during the past couple of seasons, Maloney had made it clear that she was ready to settle down and marry Schwartz. Meanwhile, up until Season 4, Schwartz didn’t feel he was financially ready to commit to a marriage.

In the midst of trips to Montauk and New Orleans, Maloney and Schwartz found themselves at odds about a number of things, including Maloney’s behavior and Schwartz’s sexual abilities. In one scene, Schwartz was seen pointing out that he is scared by Maloney’s “dark side,” which has been a reoccurring issue throughout the series’ run. In other Vanderpump Rules preview clip, Maloney points out Schwarz’s alleged sexual struggles, which he quickly denies.

As Maloney and Schwartz attempt to navigate through their issues and make it down the aisle, Jax Taylor and girlfriend Brittany Cartwright are seen going through troubles as well.

“Why did you say it?” Cartwright yells as she and Taylor sit in bed.

“Because it happened,” Taylor responds as the Vanderpump Rules trailer continues.

“It didn’t happen,” Cartwright fires back.

During another scene, which features Cartwright sitting on the couch with her mother, Taylor puts his girlfriend on blast for her allegedly non-existent work ethic.

“Why don’t I sit here and tell your mother what I’ve done for you since you’ve been here — sitting on the couch for a year while I take care of you,” he says as he walks out the door of their apartment.

“I don’t think things are going well for us anymore,” he tells her in another scene.

As fans may recall, Taylor and Cartwright began dating during the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules and quickly moved in together in West Hollywood, California. After Cartwright was unable to get a job at SUR Lounge, she found employment at Hooters and began working there as Taylor remained at SUR. Meanwhile, the couple began to but heads at home and were believed to be on the outs until the Vanderpump Rules Season 4 reunion was filmed earlier this year.

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 premieres on Monday, November 7, at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
