Jinger Duggar Accused Of ‘Moving Too Fast’ — Jim Bob Duggar Not Pleased With Jeremy Vuolo

Jinger Duggar is at the center of a family controversy involving her courtship. Counting On has been focusing on her budding relationship with Jeremy Vuolo, and their fast track to the altar. The two have reportedly been courting since December, but it was only announced this past June. Just weeks after the announcement, Vuolo asked Duggar to marry him. She accepted the proposal and wedding planning is in full swing. In fact, Jinger recently went to visit some places in Texas in search of the perfect venue.

With all of the courting rules the Duggars have in place, it isn’t surprising that the courtships don’t last very long. Jinger Duggar seems to be moving very fast, almost faster than Jessa and Jill moved with their relationships. According to the Hollywood Gossip, the pace at which things are moving has become unsettling to some of the Duggar family members. Jim Bob has expressed his desire to have his daughter married in Arkansas. It looks like that is a battle he didn’t win, since she was just in Texas looking for a venue. He has also asked that she remain in Arkansas while married. Jeremy Vuolo is originally from Philadelphia and currently lives in Laredo, Texas. He doesn’t seem to be up for the challenge of moving near the Duggar compound.

During last week’s Counting On, Jessa Duggar Seewald talked to the camera about how she feels the courtship is moving fast. While she did acknowledge Ben Seewald is good friends with Jeremy Vuolo, she was uncomfortable with the pace at which Jinger is moving. It is almost the pot calling the kettle black, as Jessa moved rather quickly with Ben as well. When something isn’t up to par for Jim Bob and Michelle, there is always a point made about it. He has talked to his soon-to-be son-in-law about his desires for his daughter, but it has apparently fallen on deaf ears. Jim Bob did bring up his concerns about how Jinger and Jeremy will raise a family on his small salary, leading to assumptions he was slamming Vuolo.

The problem seems to reside in the fact that Jeremy Vuolo wasn’t “hand-picked” by Jim Bob Duggar. Both Jessa and Jill’s husbands were brought into their worlds because of their father. Derick Dillard was actually picked for Jill, but Ben Seewald was someone who worked for the elder Duggar and became part of the family. Jinger Duggar is one with a strong will and she has fallen hard for Vuolo. It appears that Jim Bob has an issue with his past and finds that a pastor’s salary isn’t enough to keep his daughter barefoot and pregnant. While he hasn’t directly said that, it seems to be what he is inferring.

Jeremy Vuolo went ring shopping on the last episode of Counting On and both Jim Bob Duggar and Ben Seewald tagged along for support. Jinger Duggar is happily planning her wedding and seems to be a little bit more on the wild side. Fans were sure Jessa would be the most rebellious Duggar, but it seems like Jinger has a more outgoing personality and isn’t afraid to show it.

With the upcoming wedding plans, you can almost bet it will be paid for by the network in order to have it filmed. The Duggars have a huge following and the ratings could be huge if done right. Jinger Duggar has been open about her relationship with Jeremy Vuolo and how much fun she is having getting to know him. When he leaves to go back home after a visit, the emotion Jinger expresses is heartbreaking to viewers.
