Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick Reunite: Why Did The ‘KUWTK’ Couple Get Back Together?

Khloe Kardashian called it. In early September, the 32-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star indicated that her oldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian, would soon reunite with long-time beau Scott Disick.

During a teaser for upcoming episodes of KUWTK, Khloe Kardashian can be seen saying “You guys know they’re totally getting back together one day.” Of course, the comment was made in reference to Kourtney and Scott.

Now, reports are indicating that Khloe’s prediction was spot on — that is, if you believe Radar Online. The celebrity news outlet is reporting that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick reunited after a family trip to Miami, where the pair allegedly had a lot of steamy hookups.

According to the report, an unnamed source said that Kourtney Kardashian decided to take Scott back because “he finally got his s*** together.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick dated for nearly a decade before they split in July of of 2015 amid rumors that Disick had been cheating on Kourtney. The situation came to a head when Disick was photographed getting cozy with celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli in the south of France.

In the 15 months since their split, Disick has reportedly worked tirelessly to rekindle his romance with Kourtney and win back his three children. Together, Kourtney and Scott are parents to Mason, 6, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 1.

Admittedly, Disick has had some trouble along the way. The self-proclaimed Lord has had a long and very public battle with substance abuse, though he has reportedly stuck it out through an entire rehab program since the very public split in 2015. That’s a change for Disick, who has a history of checking into rehab programs leaving quickly — sometimes even as soon as the same day!

According to the Radar Online source, Kourtney believed that Scott needed a wake up call to help him get his act together, so she made the decision to step back and keep his children from him until he got his act together.

“Kourtney thinks that Scott needed to be shut out of her life for him to realize how much she means to him.”

Of course, there have been plenty of hiccups in between. In February, after leaving rehab, Disick was spotted partying and drinking beer at a New York City bar during Kanye West’s Yeezy fashion show. Not long after, Disick was seen on Kylie Jenner’s SnapChat behaving as if he was intoxicated. Additionally, Scott was photographed drinking alcohol on a trip to Mexico.

During their time apart, Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian were both linked romantically to others: Scott was said to have been involved with a bevy of models, while Kourtney has been linked to Justin Bieber.

Most recently, Disick and Kardashian were seen taking two of their three children to dinner at King’s Fish House in Calabassas, California, which is the Los Angeles-area neighborhood where Kourtney Kardashian lives. Mason and Penelope were photographed with the pair as they headed for the restaurant.

With all that being said, it’s still unclear whether Disick and Kardashian are actually back together. After all, It’s not unusual for Disick and Kardashian to be photographed together. Earlier this month, for example, the pair were seen together at Disney World with the kids in tow. Kourtney’s mother, Kris Jenner, has said repeatedly that Scott will always be part of the Kardashian family.
