WWE Rumors: Are ‘Clash Of Champions 2016’ Results Spoilers Revealed By Match Odds?

The latest WWE rumors could be accurately pointing towards some WWE Clash of Champions 2016 results spoilers for the latest pay-per-view. Sunday’s event will take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, with five championships on the line. Those will include Kevin Owens defending the Universal Championship, Charlotte defending the Women’s Championship, Rusev putting the United States Championship on the line, and New Day defending their tag team titles.

Professional wrestling fans and websites always go into speculation and prediction mode ahead of each WWE pay-per-view. That’s been no different with the upcoming Raw-exclusive event. For weeks, there had been a rumor flying around that Kevin Owens was already set to drop his WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins. As of right now, Owens has held the title the longest of the two champions so far, with a reign that is approaching a month. It would be surprising if he were to drop it so fast. There are plenty of WWE rumors, such as The Sun website, suggesting Triple H will get involved at the event and set up future match with Rollins.

Each WWE pay-per-view also brings with it some sportsbooks offering betting odds for fans to wager on matches. The latest Clash of Champions odds, as reported by Wrestling Inc, may very well tell fans who is going to win and lose come Sunday night. In the case of Owens defending his title against Rollins, the odds are strongly in favor of the current champion to retain. He’s listed as a -1050 favorite, meaning fans would have to put $1,050 on him just to win $100 if he wins. Seth Rollins is a +550 underdog, meaning $100 on him would net a $550 win. That’s if Rollins wins the match. A disqualification of Owens could count as a win for Rollins, depending on how the match is called.

With that said, the odds may show a few potential new championship winners for Sunday. Roman Reigns is a strong favorite at -840 to defeat current United States Championship Rusev who is a +480 underdog, as of this report. There has been strong speculation that WWE wants to put the title on Rusev, as he was initially being pushed in the bigger championship picture, but was since moved down the pecking order, so to speak.

Another title that appears a good pick to change hands is the WWE tag team titles. Right now, the team of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have -490 odds to defeat New Day in their Clash of Champions match. New Day has held the titles for over a year now. That sort of title reign is almost unheard of in recent WWE history, as it was mainly something fans saw back in the old WWF days. It appears to be time for a change, with the heel duo of Anderson and Gallows about to capture their first gold since coming to the Raw roster.

All other championships appear they will remain with their current owners, based on the odds. Charlotte is the favorite to win the Women’s Championship match at -390, with Sasha Banks and Bayley each +270 underdogs. Those could be two underdogs to consider of all the odds, as there are WWE rumors of a Banks and Bayley feud, which could come as a fight over the title. TJ Perkins is a -930 favorite to retain the Cruiserweight title against Brian Kendrick at +510. It will be Perkins’ first defense so this makes plenty of sense as WWE wants to give the first champion a solid start.

Other favorites for Sunday’s card include Nia Jax in a squash and in a surprise, Sheamus is listed as a slight favorite to defeat Cesaro in their “Best of Seven Series” finale match. The “Swiss Superman” has fought back from a 3-1 deficit in the series to tie it at 3-3 heading into this deciding bout.

The WWE rumors should be confirmed or denied come Sunday night as WWE Clash of Champions 2016 results will be official. Will any of the underdogs pull off upsets in the pay-per-view?
