Adam Levine Shares First Photo Of Baby Girl, Reveals Name After Wife Behati Prinsloo Gives Birth

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have welcomed their first child together and shared the first photo of their baby girl on Instagram.

Just as Adam Levine announced at the end of March that he and his wife, a Victoria’s Secret model, were expecting a child together on Instagram, the Maroon 5 rocker has chosen the social media platform to give fans the first look at his baby.

“Dusty Rose Levine 9/21/16,” Adam Levine wrote on Instagram on September 23. A short time later, Prinsloo shared the same photo on her own Instagram account, along with the message, “Words can’t describe.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcomed their daughter on Wednesday, September 21, and according to Us Weekly, they have already been showing her off to their family and friends, including Gwen Stefani, who has starred alongside Adam Levine on a couple of seasons of NBC’s The Voice.

“[Adam Levine] actually has been FaceTiming me all day because he just had his baby. She’s so cute!” Stefani told Ellen DeGeneres during an episode of her talk show, The Ellen Degeneres Show.

“I know! I saw the baby,” DeGeneres responded. “She’s adorable. She’s cute.”

Adam Levine and his wife have been close to Blake Shelton and Stefani, whose been dating Shelton since last year, for the past several months and they’ve even enjoyed a couple of double dates.

Behati Prinsloo gave birth to her first child on Wednesday, just one day after her due date of September 20.

“Everything went well and the baby is beautiful,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this week. “They’re a very happy couple and excited to start their family. I can tell you they make very beautiful babies together.”

Prior to the baby’s arrival, Adam Levine spoke of his excitement on becoming a father.

“I’m ready to be a dad,” Adam Levine told Entertainment Tonight in April. “You’re born to be a parent, that’s what we’re here for, really. All the other s–t is great, but it’s not what we’re here for.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo began dating in May 2012 and after a brief split in 2013, during which Levine was linked to model Nina Adgal, he and Prinsloo became engaged and tied the knot in Mexico in July 2014.

Since earlier this year, Adam Levine has faced rumors of a possible exit from The Voice. Although the singer has been with the show since its first season, a report months ago claimed he was considering leaving the show so that he could focus on his growing family and have more time at home. However, a short time after the report was shared, another outlet shot down the idea, claiming Levine’s flexible filming schedule allows him plenty of free time.

“Adam would stay with The Voice and will stay with The Voice even if he becomes a father,” an insider told Hollywood Life in March. “The amount of time he would have to be away really wouldn’t be that much. He could easily do both. The Voice schedule would offer no neglect to family duties and he would be able to do it because The Voice would be accommodating to all of his needs. They would all be able to work out a proper schedule to make it all work out. ”
