Madonna Pushes Her Children Towards Fashion And Modeling, Remains Determined To Keep Her Family Together

Madonna, the legendary pop icon, is taking every possible effort to groom and promote her children as they have reportedly shown a keen interest in fashion and arts. Lourdes Maria, Madonna’s eldest daughter, has already made her mark in the fashion industry by featuring in a major advertising campaign for Pop, Stella McCartney’s fragrance.

Additionally, Rocco Ritchie, the Queen of Pop’s eldest son, has recently been hired as a model to promote the Adidas Originals tracksuits that have been designed by Alexander Wang. Recently, the “Vogue” singer graced the front row of a fashion show at New York Fashion Week to witness her son Rocco walking down the runway in the Adidas tracksuits.

Moreover, Madonna is also seen promoting Mercy James and David Banda, her younger son and daughter, on social media. According to InStyle magazine, David Banda seriously posed for his mother as she enthusiastically photographed him, to enable her 7.9 million followers to witness the modeling skills of her 10-year-old son.

Donning a Fedora hat and a black trench coat, David Banda boldly stared into the camera with a typical “bored model gaze.” By all accounts, Madonna’s fans won’t be surprised when news of David Banda’s professional debut in fashion modeling emerges.

Madonna had also drawn similar attention for sharing a video on social media that showed Mercy James, her 10-year-old daughter, displaying her hidden talent while singing along with her iconic mother.

Despite her many efforts to be a supportive mother, Madonna has gone through tough times recently due to the bitter custody battle she fought with Guy Ritchie, the British director and ex-husband, over their shared son Rocco. The height of the bitterness seemed to occur when Madonna’s ex-husband overrode a New York court order by not allowing Rocco to spend his holidays with his celebrity mother.

The dispute was heard in court and, after months of contentious arguments, the court decided that Rocco should predominantly remain in his father’s custody. Although Madonna has agreed to comply with the direction of the court, she nonetheless continues to be concerned about her son, who will now permanently be living in London with his British father.

Recently, after learning that her ex-husband was away in Malibu, the “Like A Virgin” singer immediately flew to London to help her son start his new school semester. While in London, Madonna not only visited Rocco’s school and interacted with his teachers, but she also decided to make the most of her trip by spending quality time with him.

Madonna and her son reportedly spent one evening dining at Farmacy, the upscale London restaurant, with family friend Benjamin Khalili. By all accounts, Madonna was not showing the pain and sorrow of losing the custody battle. In fact, the mother and son looked relaxed as they laughed and talked together during their meal. According to People magazine, an onlooker spoke about the happy moments that Madonna spent with her son.

“There was just a really good vibe. Everyone was smiling and laughing the whole evening. It was a very nice evening for them all.”

Bystanders also got to see Rocco sharing his mother’s passion for singing as the mother-son duo left the restaurant while rapping the lyrics of one of the songs of Section Boyz, the British hip-hop group.

Quite apart from Madonna’s efforts to maintain a close relationship with each of her children, she is also taking extra steps to ensure that her children bond well with each other as siblings. Recently, Madonna posted an Instagram photo that featured the pop diva along with all her children. According to the Mirror, the photo’s caption apparently suggested that Madonna and her four children will always remain united irrespective of their individual life paths.

“We are family!” “No matter where we are in the [world].”
