Margot Robbie ‘Suicide Squad’ Workout Revealed, And Her Surprise Role In The New Harley Quinn Spinoff Movie

Margot Robbie’s role in Suicide Squad has popularized the fictional villainess who previously wasn’t as famous as her other counterparts that featured in the DC Universe. Recently, Margot Robbie’s personal trainer revealed the fitness regime that was followed by the Australian actress to build a perfect Harley Quinn physique. According to Foods 4 Better Health, Margot Robbie followed a three-week rigorous fitness regime that comprised of three-hour daily workouts, requiring the actress to make use of a skipping rope, a rebounder, as well as undertaking Pilates and ballet to stay in shape.

The About Time actress’s well-toned abdominal muscles can be attributed to her exercises on a Pilate reformer machine, which she claims also helped her to develop an elongated waist. Additionally, the ballet jumps and the jump rope workout reportedly helped Margot Robbie to mold her physique into the soft and elegant figure that was seen in the movie.

The actress especially paid attention to whittling down her thighs and waist by including glute exercises and leg lifts in her workout. The ankle weights that were used in her leg lifts proved to be useful in toning her inner thighs. According to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Margot Robbie’s rising fame and the popularity of the DC Comics Universe has encouraged Warner Bros. to introduce new Suicide Squad themed attractions at Movie World, the popular theme park in the Gold Coast area of Queensland, where Margot Robbie grew up. The new attraction will reportedly feature the DC Comics supervillain and a Doomsday Destroyer ride.

Apart from being recognized as one of the leading actresses in Hollywood, Margot Robbie has also received appreciation for quickly establishing herself as a savvy businessperson. The Whiskey Tango Foxtrot actress has teamed with her partner Tom Ackerley and other associates to set up a company named LuckyChap Entertainment that aims to produce films.

According to the Independent, Margot Robbie’s production company has signed a “first-look deal” with Warner Bros. to produce a Suicide Squad spinoff movie which will be solely based on Harley Quinn.

Additionally, LuckyChap Entertainment has also partnered with Warner Bros. to produce another film titled as Queen of the Air, which is set to be based on the novel by Dean L. Jensen. The movie will feature Margot Robbie playing the role of Lillian Leitzel, the aerial gymnast and acrobat who performed in the world’s reputed circus. In addition to featuring in the upcoming Warner Bros. movies, Margot Robbie is also reportedly producing and starring in upcoming movies that include Terminal and I, Tonya.
