Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton: Gwen Talks Babies And Wedding Plans, Blake Jokes About Getting Gwen Pregnant

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have only been dating for a year, but their fans are dying for them to tie the knot. As it turns out, a certain Shefani-shipping talk show host is also eager for the couple to wed. It’s clear that Gwen and Blake both have babies on the brain, so perhaps the musical power couple is already thinking about life beyond their wedding day.

As Us Weekly reports, Ellen DeGeneres recently made a valiant attempt to get Gwen Stefani to spill the beans about her rumored wedding plans. Ellen interviewed Gwen Thursday on her talk show, but she didn’t just ask the “Misery” singer questions about her music or the possibility that she’ll get married again. Yet, she told Gwen Stefani that she did good by winning Blake Shelton’s heart.

“I think he’s so funny, and I’m so glad y’all are so happy,” Ellen said.

Ellen then proceeded to let Gwen know that she expects to get a wedding invitation sometime in the near future.

“Before I make plans, because I make plans way ahead of time, tell me when you’re getting married because I need to know. I just need to know so I can clear the schedule,” Ellen begged Gwen.

Gwen giggled and refused to share a specific date with her pal, but she didn’t deny that she and Blake have decided to tie the knot. In fact, she seemed to admit that a Shefani wedding is eventually going to happen.

“Oh you’re crazy,” Gwen said. “OK, I’ll let you know.”

Us Weekly claims that Gwen and Blake have already hired a wedding planner, and a source told Life & Style that the couple plans on getting married sometime around Christmas at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma. However, neither Gwen nor Blake have confirmed these rumors.

As People reports, The Voice producer Mark Burnett has also said that he hopes to get an invite to Gwen and Blake’s wedding.

“I had no idea by coming to work on a fun music show they would find the loves of their life, and the light exploded and they are happier than you can imagine,” Burnett said of the former costars. “We are all thrilled to be their friends and see the happiness.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton aren’t the only Voice stars who have something to be happy about. Blake’s BFF, Adam Levine, recently welcomed his first child. Adam and his wife, Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, decided to give their baby girl a moniker fit for a future country music star: Dusty Rose.

Gwen told People that she’s “so happy” for the couple, and the mother of four offered some friendly advice for the first-time parents. According to Gwen, they should “just keep smelling that baby in the hospital!”

“That’s the greatest smell in the world, that new baby smell,” Gwen said. “I can’t wait to hold the little tiny thing.”

Gwen’s beau also had babies on the brain during the first round of blind auditions on The Voice. According to Buddy TV, Blake Shelton seemingly suggested that Gwen Stefani may be pregnant on Tuesday night’s episode of the NBC singing competition. After contestant Lauren Diaz revealed that she was a mother, Blake tried to connect with her by saying that he could “possibly” be a father.

There’s a high likelihood that Blake was just joking, but there’s also talk that he and 46-year-old Gwen are trying to have a child together.

“Gwen is trying to get pregnant,” a source close to the Stefani family told Us Weekly back in June.

According to the insider, Gwen “is totally smitten and wants to have a baby with Blake.”

Gwen Stefani has four sons from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale, so she reportedly wants to have a little girl with Blake.

Blake Shelton is also allegedly eager to have kids after trying and failing to get his ex, Miranda Lambert, on board with the idea of starting a family.

E! News reports that the some of the first photos of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton canoodling were taken last Halloween, so who knows? Perhaps Blake will make his proposal a memorable one by popping the question in costume on the spooky holiday.
