Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Split: How Selena Gomez Is Caught In The Middle Of Their Nasty Divorce

New details are starting to emerge about Brad Pitt’s divorce with Angelina Jolie.

While the estranged couple are keeping mum about their split, Radar Online reports that Selena Gomez may have caused some tension in Pitt’s marriage. How was Gomez caught in the middle of their divorce?

Apparently, it all started at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards after the “Same Old Love” singer was spotted getting extra cozy with the World War Z star.

“I’m not going to lie. It’s nice to look at all of the hot guys I admire,” Gomez said during the award ceremony. “I’m trying to find Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt right now!”

Later, Gomez shared a photo of her and Pitt sitting on a couch together discussing movies. Apparently, Jolie went crazy after seeing the image of her husband on Instagram.

“Angie blew a gasket when she saw Selena’s Instagram, and heard through friends about how Brad and Selena flirted so shamelessly,” an inside source revealed. “Now Selena is bragging to everyone that Brad is gung ho to make another movie with her.”

Gomez had a short cameo with Pitt on The Big Short.

“Selena is going around jokingly calling Brad ‘my future husband,’ and Angie is obviously none too pleased,” the insider continued. “Angie warned Brad to cut all ties with Selena, and she’s forbidding him from working with her again.”

Angelina Jolie wasn’t the only one mad at Gomez for flirting so openly.

The social media pic also angered Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, who is a close friend of the singer.

“Jen is furious with Selena for betraying her, and she’s mad at Brad for acting like a dog with a young girl,” the source explained. “Jen and Brad had been moving into a cordial friendship, but Jen realizes a tiger never changes his stripes.”

According to the Daily Mail, Gomez has had a crush on Pitt for quite some time.

In fact, Gomez told Ellen DeGeneres about the first time she met the actor and just how nervous she was to meet the Hollywood star.

“I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing,” Gomez explained. “They knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, ‘He can come in.'”

Gomez tried to be calm around Pitt, but as soon as he left the room she “hid under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn’t believe it was happening.”

“It was a lot happening,” Gomez added. “He’s so pretty.”

Mirror reports that Gomez was previously linked to Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom.

Pitt has not addressed the rumors surrounding Gomez, though this isn’t the first time he has faced cheating allegations.

The actor was rumored to be cheating on Jolie with his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard.

Despite all the rumors, sources close to the couple insist that no “third person” was involved in the decision to divorce.

Sources close to Jolie, meanwhile, revealed that Pitt’s substance abuse and anger issues are at the center of their divorce.

In response to the allegations, Pitt is reportedly mad at his estranged wife for spreading rumors that might hurt their children.

According to The Sun, Jolie is not seeking spousal support from Pitt but does want a judge to grant her physical custody of their six kids – Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10), and twins Knox and Vivienne (eight).

An inside source further revealed that the actress filed for divorce because she was unhappy with how “Brad was parenting the children,” and that “she was extremely upset with his methods.”

After the news broke, Pitt opened up about the split, saying “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids.”

Both Pitt and Jolie have requested that the media give them some space while they work through this difficult time.
