‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 59, 60 Spoilers: Beerus vs. Zamasu, Gowasu’s Fate

Dragon Ball Super Episode 59 is two days away and there are real spoilers we are going to go through.

The Dragon Ball Super Episode 59 preview shows us that Zamasu needs the time ring, which is a time travelling device so that he can poison Gowasu’s Tea.

Zamasu is Gowasu’s apprentice and we can see in the preview that the tea that Gowasu is usually served looks different. The rice cakes look the same, which means they are not poisoned.

Zamasu’s conniving plan will lead to a fight with Beerus who is the God of Destruction of Universe 7 and will make it clear that he is above Goku in Episode 59 despite the fact that they have been treated as equals up to this point.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 58 entailed Goku and Future Trunks being defeated by Zamasu, the Supreme Kai apprentice of Universe 10, Gowasu and Goku Black who intervened after Goku challenged Zamasu.

Vegeta steps in to help and is also beaten, however, Future Mai and the resistance soldiers intervene and rescue Vegeta then Goku Black and Zamasu get away.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 59 is titled “Protect Kaioshin Gowasu, Destroy Zamasu!”

Since the future Zamasu had on a pair of Potara, which only Kaioshin are qualified to wear, Goku and his allies determined that the Universe 10 Gowasu’s life must be in danger since his apprentice plans on betraying him.

However, Zamasu is wearing a green Potara, which has led to speculation about what Zamasu may have done.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 60 is titled “Back to the Future: Goku Black’s Identity Revealed.”

Spoilers of this future episode state that Beerus finds proof that the present day Zamasu has murdered Gowasu, which confirms the God of Destruction death. It also tells us that Goki and his allies failed to prevent his death.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 59 will explain why they didn’t manage to save Gowasu’s life.

Beerus obliterates Zamasu in an epic battle that should air in October. With present Zamasu destroyed, they assume that the future will be safe. However, future Trunks is skeptical about how things are going to turn out and goes to the future to explore his suspicions.

How did the present Zamasu get to the future to being with? It is possible that the Zamasu in the future is from a completely different timeline. If they prevent him from getting the time rings, he should have been able to go to the future, to begin with.

This suggests that we have not seen the end of Zamasu. He is immortal after all, so we will see how Beerus managed to destroy him if he cannot die.

In the Geek101 Dragon Ball Super YouTube video, one fan theory explains what possibly happened.

“They’re all from different time lines this is why the four green time rings were introduced. Present day Zamasu is dead but the others are still alive. Black is Zamasu and so is the other one. One wished for Goku’s body the other wished for immortality. Just how a different Beerus existed in Trunks time line so do the Super Dragon Balls. So each Zamasu made their wish on the dragon balls of their respective timeline. Another example there are multiple Zamasu’s just how there are two Trunks in the present. “

Another fan theory is that Zamasu did not wish for immortally at all and used the dragon balls to create Black Goku.

Another Dragon Ball Super fan commented.

“What doesn’t make sense about episode 60 is that if they kill present Zamasu, how is everything going to be “OK” in the future? It’s as if future Zamasu is just going to disappear. But remember what Gohan said to Trunks in Dragon Ball Z? If he killed the Artificial humans in the present, they wouldn’t just go away in his world, sounds like they are throwing away the multiverse theory.”
