‘Fear The Walking Dead,’ Season 2, Episode 13, ‘Date Of Death’ Predictions — Has Travis Left Chris Behind, Plus, Who Will Die?

Episode 13 (entitled “Date of Death”) of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead comes with an interesting title. But what does it mean? Let’s have a look at what could happen in the upcoming episode.

Spoiler alert: This article discusses Episode 13 of Season 2 of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. Please proceed with caution if you wish to avoid spoilers.

Episode 13 of Season 2 of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead is titled “Date of Death. ” The official synopsis is below.

“Refugees flood into the hotel, including an unexpected refugee from our group. Madison struggles to cope with the situation.”

While not as short a synopsis as last week’s, it still only really gives a hint for one storyline. The official teaser clip, thankfully, shows a little more.

While Madison will have her hands full with dealing with onslaught of refugees, she still has time to worry about Nick. Considering how much her daughter, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), wants her mother’s attention, things could get complicated inside the hotel, as well as on the perimeters.

As for Nick (Frank Dillane) and his group, not a lot has been revealed in regards to this storyline in Episode 13 of Fear the Walking Dead. Considering his mother now knows the general location of his group, it seems possible AMC might hold off on their meeting for a little while longer while they concentrate on other storylines. The same could be said for Ofelia’s (Mercedes Mason) storyline.

Viewers saw at the very end of Episode 12 of Fear the Walking Dead, that Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) had found the Rosarito Beach Hotel. However, the shot was too tight to tell whether he was alone or not. Has Travis left his son behind to return to Madison (Kim Dickens)? Regardless of who he is travelling with, it seems Travis’ decision to return to Madison will be a large part to Episode 13 of Fear the Walking Dead. So much so that AMC have released a sneak peek clip exploring this.

The sneak peek clip for Episode 13 of Fear the Walking Dead shows just how different Travis and his son really are. Travis has a very strong moral obligation, whereas Chris is ready to take on the zombie apocalypse with both hands, taking down whoever he needs to in order to survive.

As for the title of Episode 13, “Date of Death,” there is very little indication what this will mean in regards to the characters and storylines in Fear the Walking Dead. Usually the date of death of a person is the official indication of when that person died. So, is AMC hinting someone could die in Episode 13? Considering this is the zombie apocalypse, then, yes, someone could certainly die. However, perhaps AMC is indicating a figurative meaning. Could they, again, be referencing Travis and his son? Possibly they mean Travis will metaphorically die after making the decision to leave his son? Only by tuning into Episode 13 of Fear the Walking Dead will reveal this answer.

Finally, AMC has released some promotional stills from Episode 13 of Fear the Walking Dead. There is still no appearance of Nick or Ofelia in these images. Instead, AMC has chosen to show images of the group that Travis and Chris have been involved with, along with images of Madison and Alicia.
