Jennifer Aniston Must Be Feeling Some Satisfaction Right Now Over Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie’s Divorce

When Angelina Jolie became “very close” to Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Jennifer Aniston was ridiculed, made fun of, and has always been seen as a loser among Angeline Jolie’s biggest fans. One of Aniston’s biggest critics was Perez Hilton, who constantly referred to Jennifer Aniston as “Maniston” and constantly pitted her against his favorite, Angelina Jolie.

According to ABC News, Perez Hilton made peace with Aniston in 2011. Aniston claims that after finishing dinner with a friend, she ran into Perez Hilton while driving back home. She stared at him and then asked him to talk. Aniston asked him why he always called her “Maniston,” and Perez couldn’t come up with a reason. After the encounter, he agreed to be nicer. But Hilton wasn’t Aniston’s only critic after Brad Pitt left her and turned to Angelina Jolie.

In 2005, People talked about the divorce between Pitt and Aniston.

“Somewhere between the tears, the on-with-the-show work schedules and the reappearing rings, Pitt, 41, and Aniston, 35, have begun striking out on their new, postsplit lives. Since his return from Japan, Pitt has variously been spotted riding his motorcycle, appearing on the Jan. 15 NBC tsunami-relief telethon and walking on the beach in Santa Barbara, where he and Aniston own a home.”

The article added that Aniston started a new film and noted that a Hollywood executive said they are still good friends. But that certainly wasn’t the case after it was revealed that Brad Pitt was soon seeing Angelina Jolie. Many believed he was seeing Angelina Jolie before his divorce to Aniston. Still, it was Aniston who was endlessly bashed.

In what seemed like a very smart PR movie, Angelina Jolie did everything she could to prevent bad press from “stealing” Brad Pitt. She turned into “Saint Angelina Jolie” and was suddenly seen in orphanages posing with poor children. Some joked that it almost seemed as if Jolie had hired a special digital photographer to cover all of her saintly events. Many wondered why Jolie suddenly made herself the spokeswoman for refugees and immigrant children.

Then, Angelina and Brad had their first baby in 2006, Shiloh. According to Babble, Jolie received a lot of backlash for calling Shiloh a “blob.”

“Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born. I have less inclination to feel for her…I met my other kids when they were 6 months old, they came with a personality. A newborn really is this…Yes, a blob!” Jolie is quoted as saying.

Tabloids couldn’t help posting pictures of Angelina and Brad happy and Jennifer Aniston looking sad. Saint Angelina turned Brad Pitt into Saint Brad, they adopted more kids, became spokespeople for almost every cause, and made the world fall in love with them. But many had always questioned their “saint” status and believed that behind the scenes, the world’s most loved couple wasn’t so loving.

Over the past couple of years, Angelina Jolie’s star has faded, while Jennifer Aniston’s has continued to rise. Aniston won much critical acclaim for her role in the 2014 film Cake. She was named People‘s Most Beautiful Woman in 2016. And now that Angelina and Brad have announced their divorce, Aniston is in the news again. According to Us Weekly, Aniston thinks that the couple’s split is “karma.”

“Jennifer Aniston doesn’t harbor any ill will toward her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, but that’s not to say she might not feel somewhat satisfied upon learning about Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split. Sources tell Us Weekly that the Friends alum, who was married to Pitt prior to his romance with Jolie, sees the By the Sea stars’ failed marriage somewhat as karma.”

You can bet that this divorce will become a tabloid nightmare for both Pitt and Jolie, and Jennifer Aniston will be enjoying every single bit of it. Perhaps the media owes Aniston an apology for the way they treated her last decade.
