Massive Star Wars ‘Millennium Falcon-Style’ UFO Caught On Video Flying In Dark Skies Over New York [Video]

A witness in New York was driving home with his girlfriend between Florida and Goshe in Orange County, on the night of August 4, 2016, when they sighted a massive UFO in the night sky. The witness was able to capture an incredible footage of the UFO because it was visible in dark skies being brightly lit.

He captured footage showing the mysterious UFO hovering overhead. Many viewers remarked that it was strikingly similar in appearance to the Millennium Falcon spacecraft from the Star Wars movie franchise, manned by Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and his Wookie companion, Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew).

“It’s definitely a UFO…they’re watching us.”

The witness submitted the footage along with a written report to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). MUFON filed the report in its archives as Case 79187 on September 16, 2016, according to Open Mind TV’s Roger Marsh.

The witness told MUFON that he was driving home from Florida with his girlfriend between 9 and 10 p.m. on August 4, 2016, when, at a spot near Goshe, he looked up and saw a brilliantly glowing UFO sailing in the night sky. He stopped his car to film the UFO.

According to the witness, the entire surface of the mystery craft was lit with bright and glowing light that was not blinking.

“Me and my girlfriend were coming home at about 9 to 10 pm when we saw a light to our left,” he said. “This thing was a complete lit-surfaced craft. It wasn’t blinking lights. The entire surface of the craft was lit up and glowing.”

The footage above shows the mysterious UFO in the sky.

“What the hell is that?” the person behind the camera can be heard saying, according to the Mirror.

“I don’t know man, but no planes ride that low,” his girlfriend, Annette, replied. “It’s almost transparent, it’s definitely a UFO. They are watching us.”

“There’s no way that’s a plane,” he said, “look at the shape of it, look how big it is.”

“I wonder if it’s a blimp. Whatever that is, it is huge,” he added.

“Yeah, it’s a spaceship,” Annette agreed.

The footage, praised widely as being among the clearest UFO clips in recent times, was featured on Scott C. Waring’s UFO Sightings Daily blog.

“This is an excellent capture of a UFO over New York and has a lot of similarities to the security guard video of a UFO over the sea in Turkey back in 2007,” Waring wrote. “UFOs are no stranger to New Yorkers, but are actually seen every few years.”

MUFON said that its representatives in New York were investigating the reported sighting.

This is not the first reported sighting of a “Millennium Falcon-type” UFO. The Inquisitr reported in April that a UFO hunter claimed to have spotted on Google Earth a “Millennium Falcon-type” UFO submerged below the surface of water near a beach on a remote central Pacific Island.

According to the UFO hunter Third Phase of Moon, the UFO was likely an alien spacecraft that crashed from space on Starbuck Island, a remote uninhabited coral atoll that is part of Kiribati’s Central Line Island.

UFO enthusiasts remarked that Starbuck Island, also known as Volunteer Island, was an ideal hideout for an alien pilot forced to crash his spacecraft on Earth following a mechanical failure.

Some enthusiasts suggested that the alien was probably still stranded on the island hoping to be evacuated by a rescue craft dispatched from the alien UFO mothership stationed in space.

Waring also claimed in March to have spotted a 30-meter “Millennium Falcon-style” UFO stored in a large, secret “climate-controlled” hanger located at the special Area S4 section of Area 51.

Area 51 is the secret detachment of Edwards Air Force Base in the Nevada desert where UFO hunters believe that government is secretly keeping extraterrestrial crafts recovered from UFO crash sites — such as Roswell, New Mexico — for reverse-engineering studies.

The UFO hunter supplied Google Map coordinates of his historic discovery: 36°55’35.30?N 116° 0’25.41?W.

Skeptics have often taken UFO hunters to task over claimed sightings of alien UFOs that look like spacecraft from science fiction movies. UFO conspiracy theorists however claim that the discovery of alien UFOs that match spacecraft from science fiction movies, such as Star Wars and Star Trek, is not surprising because many classic science fiction movies were based on information about real-life alien spacecraft leaked by the government to sci-fi movie creators.

The Inquisitr reported earlier in the week that conspiracy theorist Michael Salla claimed on his Exopolitics blog that the Star Trek sci-fi series by Gene Roddenberry was based on leaked information about an alleged secret U.S. Navy Space Fleet program in alliance with advanced extraterrestrial species.
