Jennifer Aniston Called Angelina Jolie ‘The Groom Raider’, Never Believed She Was Right For Brad

Amid the hoopla surrounding the Brangelina separation, friends of Jennifer Aniston claimed that the Friends star used to mockingly refer to Angelina Jolie as the “Groom Raider” and that she has always believed that Angie wasn’t the right woman for Brad Pitt.

“Throughout all the pain and hurt Jen endured when she split from Brad she always felt Angelina Jolie wasn’t for him,” a source told Mirror.

According to multiple reports, Aniston, who separated from Pitt in 2005 after five years of marriage, “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split.”

Friends of Jennifer Aniston claimed that the divorce between Jolie and Pitt didn’t come as a surprise to her.

“She always thought she was too complex for him as she sees Brad as quite a simple guy… He’s just a regular guy with a high profile job,” the source says.

“Jen knew he was very easily pleased and content with a quiet life away from the cameras.

“That was the life they led.

“After everything, Jen went through her close pals thought Angie was a master manipulator.”

The source added that despite Angelina Jolie’s denial that she stole Brad Pitt from Jennifer, they still insisted calling her “Groom Raider.”

“Everyone in Jen’s circle presumed Angie would grow tired of Brad and it would be her leaving him for another guy.

“Let’s just say Brad is not the most mentally stimulating of guys.”

Aniston, who is now engaged with the cousin of Louis Theroux, Justin Theroux, hasn’t gloated even one bit after learning that Brad Pitt’s marriage has come to an end. In fact, the source says that Jen “still cares about Brad and wishes him well.”

The source added that Aniston “has moved on and has found happiness with Justin.”

Jennifer Aniston has so far restrained herself from speaking publicly about the much-talked about Brangelina divorce, although US Weekly claimed that the 47-year-old actress reacted to the report while talking to a friend with the statement: “Yeah, that’s karma for you!”

Before Brad Pitt hooked up with Angelina Jolie, he and Aniston were one of the most popular celebrity couples in Hollywood history. The two got married in 2000 only to separate five years later, not long after Pitt met Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004.

Brad and Angelina had been the subject of much speculation and controversy as the two allegedly started a relationship while the World War Z actor was still married to Aniston. Pitt and Jolie strongly denied the accusations, but the Ocean’s Eleven star later admitted in a 2008 Rolling Star interview that this is his favorite film of Jolie’s, saying, “because I fell in love.”

In an interview with Vogue in 2006, Angelina admitted that the film was the beginning of something serious.

“It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe. And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration.”

Brangelina finally became official on January 11, 2006, when Jolie confirmed she was pregnant with Pitt’s child. Before long, Pitt officially adopted Jolie’s adopted children, Maddox and Zahara.

After nearly a decade of dating and raising a family, Pitt and Jolie tied the knot in a secret ceremony in France, with the bride wearing a stunning Atelier Versace wedding gown which got featured on the cover of People.

On September 15, Angelina filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids,” Pitt said in a statement Tuesday. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
