First, The Independent sat down with Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the show, to discuss some interesting Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers. Confirming the casting call first revealed on the Watchers on the Wall website, a mass horde of both the Unsullied and the Dothraki will fight alongside the Khaleesi in what’s being called an “epic battle.” An additional spoiler that was confirmed was that Cersei Lannister (played by Lena Headey) will join forces with Euron Greyjoy of the Iron Islands, so it looks like these two warring camps will be facing off against one another in a battle for the Iron Throne. Emilia also echoed her co-star Maisie Williams’ earlier sentiments about the intense nature of this season:

“It’s ridiculous. Like, every single word is a spoiler, almost. It’s ridiculous. They topped it – and again.”

More Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers come to us courtesy of Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on the show. Of all the cast members, she’s been the most chatty when it comes to this new season, so it’s always a treat to hear from her. According to Variety Magazine, who spoke to Turner, George R.R. Martin’s tradition of killing off beloved characters is going to continue into this season, even though this is the first season that will be formally going “off-book” (so, for fans of the book series, this season may or may not be considered “canonical,” depending on how George writes the next book in the series).

“It’s quite sad. It really feels like things are wrapping up and coming to an end. People are hanging around Belfast a bit longer to be around each other and be in each other’s presence. We’ve got one more season…well, not all of us.”

Turner also revealed that her character is becoming infinitely more complex this season, and viewers should disabuse themselves of any preconceived notions they may have about her.

“You don’t really know what’s going on with her this season. We’re trying to figure out where her loyalties lie and you’re wondering if she is going to pull through and be a true Stark or not.”

Our final set of Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers come to us courtesy of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jamie Lannister on the show. According to WinterIsComing.net, Nikolaj said that we can expect a lot of characters who didn’t spend a lot of time together in the 6th season to be reunited in the upcoming one.

“We started seeing it in Season 6; characters that met in the first episode of Season 1 are now meeting again and you’re going to see that start happening more.”

While he could be referring to the many Stark reunions, he could also be referring to the much-anticipated reunion between Jamie & his prodigal brother, Tyrion (played by Peter Dinklage).
