Adam was presumed dead after the cabin explosion, but viewers got one key moment in a recent episode that clearly left the door open for him to be alive. Someone wearing a glove put Adam’s wedding ring into a drawer and shut it, but nothing more has been detailed since then. Chelsea, Victor, and others in Genoa City are mourning his loss, but people are curious to see where this heads next.

Justin Hartley has confirmed that he has left the show, but could the series recast or even bring Michael Muhney back to Young and Restless? If Adam is still alive, where is he and who might be helping him? It does seem as if Chloe, Chelsea, and Victor all truly believe that Adam is gone, which means that he is either on his own or getting help from somebody else. Given his state, as Chloe taunted him just before the explosion, it seems pretty clear that someone else is involved in what went down with the explosion and the moments afterward.
Another big storyline that should be a big focus during the next couple of months is Sharon’s ongoing secret regarding Sully being Christian. She is desperate to keep this under wraps for fear of losing both the baby and Dylan, but tidbits about honesty and lies are being sprinkled around by Dylan, and this is surely foreshadowing Sharon’s secret emerging at last.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Stacy Haiduk may be returning this fall as Patty Williams, and this could be the beginning of the end for the Sully storyline. Fans are dying to see this situation resolved, and Young and Restless spoilers from Soap Central note that Dylan will learn the truth about his wife’s secret this fall and it leads to dramatic changes in his relationship with Sharon. Of course, Patty doesn’t know that Nick isn’t Christian’s biological father, that Adam was, so folks will be curious to see how and when that bombshell emerges as well.
What about Adam’s supposed death? If he is still alive, who might be helping him? Celeb Dirty Laundry speculates that Patty and perhaps even Ian could be involved here, and that would make for a juicy development. Ian would make sense, even though he has not been in the mix of things for a while, and if he were working with Patty somehow, that wouldn’t be the first time they teamed up with one another.
