When Will ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7 Be On Netflix?

The Pretty Little Liars Season 7A finale only aired last month, but fans are already wondering when it will be on Netflix. With this being the last season, at what point will it reach the streaming service?

The good news is that ABC and Netflix have renewed their contract throughout 2016. There is a high chance that Pretty Little Liars Season 7 will eventually make its way to Netflix. Those in the United Kingdom and other territories will already be able to watch the season. Episodes are released around midnight after they air on Freeform since there are no networks in the areas that show the episodes. Pretty Little Liars isn’t the only show that does this, with Once Upon a Time opting for this in the U.K., as the Inquisitr previously reported.

Now for the bad news: This is definitely going to be the last season of PLL. That could mean that the show isn’t available for streaming for the rest of the world until much later. Depending on DVD and Blu-ray sales, the show may not make it to Netflix until the summer of 2018, according to FanSided’s Netflix Life.

However, it is unlikely that fans will have to wait two years from the premiere date of Season 7. There are high chances that it will be released soon after the Season 7B finale sometime next year.

When will that season finale air? This brings you some more bad news. Shortly before the Season 7A finale, Marlene King and the main cast of Pretty Little Liars Season 7 announced that 7B wouldn’t return until April of 2017. This is much later than normal. The show usually returns from its midseason break around January or February. It is possible that because it’s the last season, the crew wants to go all-out, and this means tricky filming and development. The filming is dragged out, meaning the release of the Season 7B premiere is pushed back.

Because of the late midseason premiere date, it is possible that Pretty Little Liars Season 7 will come to Netflix in two halves. The first part of the season may be released around the New Year in place of the usual release date of the second half of the season. The second half will then arrive in the summer of 2017 once the whole series is over.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a better answer for when Pretty Little Liars Season 7 will be on Netflix. For now, you can catch up with the first six seasons.

For those who haven’t seen a single episode, this is one of the summer’s most highly anticipated shows. It has a strong following with fans thanks to its mystery and misdirection throughout the years. The premise started off simple: A group of teenagers found themselves haunted by someone named A. This person tormented them with their secrets and it took five and a half years for the real identity of A to be revealed. With a five-year jump, the girls found themselves back in Rosewood and now haunted by a new person: A.D.

The mystery of A.D. is still being revealed, with other twists and turns along the way. The most recent revelations have included one of the girls being adopted into her family and another finding out she is pregnant with her dead psycho husband’s baby.

Pretty Little Liars will return sometime in April of 2017 for the final episodes. It will likely conclude around June 2017, which may be when Pretty Little Liars Season 7 will come to Netflix.
