Does Chris Brown Want Rihanna Back Now She’s Dating Drake?

Chris Brown and Rihanna may have ended their six-year on and off romance in 2013, but is Chris now lobbying to get back together with the popstar?

Despite recent reports claiming that Brown is still holding out hope for a reconciliation with his former girlfriend, sources are now alleging that Chris has no plans to ever get back together with Rihanna as rumors swirl that things are starting to get serious between her and Drake.

According to an inside source who spoke out about Chris and Rihanna to Urban Islandz, Brown knows he and Rihanna are too different to make a serious relationship work and has now officially moved on from his former love as she continues to get cozy with Drake.

“I guess you can say that she was much more intense because she loves him and wanted the relationship to work,” a source told the site of Brown and Rihanna’s past relationship, which first began in 2007 and continued on and off until 2013, despite Chris’s arrest for domestic violence.

“[Chris] was more laid back and carefree, perhaps a little too young to get so serious in a relationship,” the insider continued.

According to the site’s source, Rihanna was allegedly always the one who was ready to settle down in their relationship while Chris, who was just 18-years-old when they started dating, was never ready to get that serious. “He gets the feeling like she wanted marriage kids and all that other stuff,” the insider said, “but Chris felt like he was too young for that.”

“[Rihanna] wanted to know where he was at every time of the day and would search his phone and stuff,” the site continued, claiming that Rihanna’s need to be in constant contact with Brown would often “make him angry” during their dating days.

The source also went on to allege that things could have worked out differently for Chris Brown and Rihanna if they were dating now but denied that that means Brown is looking for a reconciliation with the “Needed Me” singer.

“Maybe if it was now things would have been different,” Urban Islandz insider said, “but they have both now moved on and doing their separate thing.”

Reports claiming that Chris is no longer looking to reconcile with Rihanna come shortly after the site reported that Brown was having a hard time believing that his former girlfriend is getting serious with Drake after the pair seemingly confirmed that they’re dating at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards last month.

Urban Islandz claimed at the time that Brown didn’t believe Rihanna and Drake were seriously dating and suggested that the “Forever” singer believed that he would one day reconcile with the star.

“[Chris] know her and he knows that she is not in love with him like the way he is with her,” an insider told the site of how Brown reacted to reports claiming that Rihanna and Drake are starting to get serious. “You can’t force love and [Rihanna] will always love Chris and there is no doubt about that.”

Hollywood Life also claimed earlier this year that Brown isn’t exactly the biggest fan of Drake and Rihanna dating, even going as far as to allege that Chris will always see Rihanna as his “soulmate” and doesn’t believe she’ll ever settle down with anyone who isn’t him.

“Chris doesn’t believe for a second that his soulmate would tie the knot with her long-term side piece,” an insider said of Brown’s take on Drake and Rihanna dating. “[He] ain’t buying that for a minute.”
