Famous Dex Beating Video: Footage Allegedly Shows Chicago Rapper Beating Up Woman In Apartment Hallway [Graphic Video]

Famous Dex could be in some major trouble after a video emerged allegedly showing the Chicago rapper breaking into an apartment and then chasing a woman down, delivering a brutal beating.

The video began making the rounds on Twitter on Tuesday night, showing a man identified as Famous Dex chasing down and beating a woman in an apartment hallway. The video shows the woman cowering in a corner as the man throws several punches.

The woman in the video is taken to the ground but gets up and throws punches back at the man, who then wrestles her back to the floor. The two continue fighting until a third man gets between them and breaks up the fight.

In the end, both the woman and the man walked away without appearing to suffer any major injuries.

Video of the alleged Famous Dex beating can be seen below, but be warned that it contains some disturbing images.

The beating allegations first came from Tish Hyman, who posted the video to Instagram along with a description of what happened.

“listen2tish_Let this man #famousdex @famousdex stay at my place. He not only TRASHED And BROKE INTO my place. He beat this poor girl so badly. Is this the new generation of great artists that young people are looking up to? And is THIS the type of person a great company like @puma #puma chose to represent their brand. So disappointing. I hope this spreads through the Internet and shows these young people what Young Dexter is about. Thank you for hurting me young man. But you truly hurt yourself.”

Though details of the fight are still emerging and it has not been confirmed if it is indeed Famous Dex in the video, many fans already started speaking out against the Chicago rapper, saying that his career will be over.

The rapper, who just turned 23, is also known as Black Migo Dex and has been rising up in the rap scene for the past few years. He attended Robeson High School at the same time as fellow rapper Lil Durk and was long known within Chicago, but in recent years has started to take on a more national stature.

Famous Dex collaborated with Justin Bieber for the song “Bottle After Bottle” and had been quite prolific in his work. Since putting out his first mixtape in June 2015, he has gone to put out five more including one that was released just hours before the alleged beating video emerged.

The video took all the attention from that new mixtape, which is called Dexter the Robot. The tape was getting plenty of attention and had some big names collaborating, HNHH reported.

“We’ve heard a lot of Famous Dex’s music by way of his labelhead, Rich The Kid, as the two have collaborated quite often since Dex signed with Rich’s Rich Forever imprint back in March. However Dex has also kept fans busy with his own music, delivering his Heartbreak Kid mixtape back in June and now already following that up with another project, Dexter The Robot. The mixtape contains appearances from Rich The Kid of course, as well as Quavo, Jose Guapo, Lite Fortunato, Maxo Kream, Trill Sammy and more. Production comes from Maaly Raw, Big Head, among others.”

Many fans were shocked to learn the allegations against Famous Dex, who appeared to be a young man with his mind on family and his community. The rapper had often posted Instagram pictures showing him as a loving father to his daughter and with children in Chicago.

Aside from confirmation that is indeed him, the Famous Dex beating video is lacking a number of details, including exactly when it took place and whether a police report was filed. The rapper himself has yet to make a statement on the video.
