Priyanka Chopra And Tom Hiddleston Exchanged Numbers At Emmy Awards 2016 After-Party: Is ‘Quantico’ Star Set To Be Taylor Swift Rebound?

Priyanka Chopra and Tom Hiddleston’s flirting at the Emmy Awards was big news after the ceremony, and it has fans wondering whether the Avengers and Quantico stars could become a hot, new celebrity couple.

First, the way they presented the Emmy Award for Directing for a Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special was very special. As the two gorgeous actors stepped out on stage hand in hand, Tom tugged on Priyanka’s hand, and she twirled in front of him as if they were dancing.

If that wasn’t romantic enough, according to a new report from the Mirror, Priyanka and Tom did a lot at an Emmy after-party to fuel the speculation that they are very attracted to one another.

“He had his arm around her and held her close. Afterwards Tom and Priyanka talked closely and were holding hands — at one point for a few moments,” an Emmy Awards attendee said to the Mirror.

In a recent interview with In Style Russia, Priyanka opened up about about her experience with romance and relationships. She even revealed that she had never dated anyone before.

“I’ve never dated,” she said. “I’ve always been in relationships.”

It’s really no surprise when you remember Chopra is an Indian actress. The concept of dating is culturally alien to her and doesn’t seem like something she’s inclined to try in the future.

“It’s very different. You like someone, you court each other, you get into a relationship,” she added. “You’re answerable to each other. Whereas the nonanswerability of dating, my god, I don’t know if I would ever be able to.”

Although this might rain on the parade of anyone who is looking forward to a Tom Hiddleston-Priyanka Chopra romance, true Chopra fans should more happy about the strides that the former Bollywood actress is making in her career. Her hit TV show, Quantico, showed Hollywood that she is a force to be reckoned with on screen. With Season 2 about to premiere soon, Priyanka is poised to show off her acting chops even more in front of an international audience.

In Quantico, Chopra plays Alex Parrish, a woman who is a suspected terrorist. Through a series of flashbacks, we learn that she is an FBI agent who was trained alongside other recruits at the FBI Academy in Quantico. Season 1 was well received by critics and the TV audience. The show has an 83 percent rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes and has a 70 percent rating based on 25 reviews on Metacritic.

Earlier this year, Chopra also became the first South Asian actress to win a People’s Choice’s Award when she took home the trophy for Best Actress in a New TV Series. She was up against a strong list of nominees, which included Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, and Marcia Gay Harden.

“I’d like to thank everyone who voted for Quantico,” Priyanka said during her acceptance speech. “It’s my first year in America and to come to another country and to actually get this type of acceptance is, I guess what America is all about. So, thank you all for accepting me.”

“My mom, my manager, the cast and crew, the writers, ABC, everyone. I’m really overwhelmed,” Chopra added.

Quantico Season 2 is set to premiere on September 25, 2016.
