Will Jennifer Aniston Divorce Justin Theroux Now That Brad Pitt Has Split From Angelina Jolie?

Is Jennifer Aniston going to be following in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s footsteps by divorcing her husband, Justin Theroux?

For the past several months, Jennifer Aniston has been faced with rumors of an impending split and secret communication with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

In July, In Touch Weekly published a report, claiming that Pitt’s wife had “gone nuclear” after discovering he had gotten in touch with Jennifer Aniston after the death of her mother, Nancy Dow, earlier this summer.

“It was their first moment in months without the kids or staff around,” a source told the magazine. “Angie thought a good one-on-one conversation would enable them to finally catch up on their lives. Then, Brad casually mentioned that he’d reached out to [Jennifer Aniston] to send his sympathy after her mom passed away in May. He didn’t think it was a big deal.”

The report even suggested that Pitt and Jennifer Aniston had reunited.

“To Angie, it was akin to Brad dropping a nuclear bomb,” the source explained. “She was furious they’d reunited.”

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt began dating in 1998 as the actress starred on Friends and in 2000, they tied the knot. Although the couple was once thought of as a rare marital success, their relationship came crashing down in 2005 amid allegations of a Pitt-Jolie affair. At the time, Pitt and Jolie stayed mum about their romance, but ultimately, just one month after Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce, they went public with an outing in Kenya.

Following the end of her marriage to Pitt, Jennifer Aniston was linked to a number of famous faces, including actor Vince Vaughn, whom she dated from 2005 to 2006, and musician John Mayer, whom she dated from 2008 to 2009. Then, in May of 2011, as they filmed Wanderlust, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux struck up a romance, which ultimately led to a 2012 engagement and 2015 wedding.

Months after their wedding, Theroux said it was “fantastic” to finally get to call Jennifer Aniston his wife.

“It feels very touching,” he said, according to a report by Entertainment Tonight last September. “I can’t remember the first time I said those words but it feels fantastic. It’s a comfortable term… I was getting tired of saying fiancee. That sounds adorable for about six months and then you go, ‘OK, we got to make some time for this.'”

While Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux just recently celebrated their 1-year wedding anniversary, there have been ongoing rumors regarding possible strain in their marriage.

Earlier this summer, after being targeted by reports of a pregnancy, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were said to be heading for divorce. In the latest claim, an insider suggested that Theroux may have cheated on his wife with actress Olivia Munn, who is currently dating Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, despite a shocking Game N Guide headline on September 19, there does not appear to be anything at all romantic happening between Theroux and Munn.

A report also surfaced last month that suggested Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie had been dumped by their husbands at the same time.

“Not again! Jennifer Aniston faces more heartbreak as her second marriage crumbles,” read a headline of In Touch Weekly shared by Gossip Cop, who denied the report was true.

According to the report, Jennifer Aniston “really laid into” Theroux after a disappointing one-year anniversary celebration, claiming, “She called him out for being a grump all week and for ruining what should have been a blissful time together.”
