Shannon Beador’s Mother-In-Law Drama: Did David Cut Off His Own Mother Over Shannon?

Shannon Beador was super proud of her girls, who played their first rock concert last night on The Real Housewives of Orange County. And the night may have been perfect if David Beador’s mother hadn’t come to the concert. His mother, Donna, decided to go straight up to Kelly Dodd and Tamra Judge and say that Shannon was keeping her children away from her so that she couldn’t see her grandchildren. This is the first time that fans have even learned that there are family issues with David Beador and his family and it was very surprising that Donna would claim that Shannon pushed him to an affair.

According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador is now opening up about the friction with her mother-in-law. As it turns out, their relationship has never been good, even though Shannon and David have been married for years. She told the Daily Dish that David spent a lot of time with his mother before meeting Shannon, and she took a lot of his time after they started dating.

And she explains that they have had ups and downs, but his mother-in-law is actually spreading lies, and she’s not making an effort to fix things. And their issues started long before the affair. Sadly, the cheating has only given Donna more ammunition.

“It has nothing to do with the affair. It has to do with the fact that no matter how hard I try, my husband’s family doesn’t give two hoots about me. And it hurts,” Shannon Beador revealed to the Daily Dish, adding, “And especially for her to go down and say that one gut-wrenching comment that I drove my husband to an affair, nobody drives anybody to an affair. I didn’t make my husband do anything; he did it. So for his mother [to say that] when I’ve continually made efforts, it’s hard.”

It was heartbreaking to see her talk about her family problems, and it’s even more heartbreaking that Shannon Beador’s mother-in-law felt it was necessary to talk to Shannon’s Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars about their troubling relationship.

“It’s incredibly cruel to hear someone attack you when it comes to my marriage,” Shannon Beador explains about her marriage these days, adding that she’s not going to let Donna ruin everything that she had managed to do after the affair. Beador had done quite a bit to build trust with her husband again after she caught him cheating.

“I’m not gonna let that one woman take it down. I’m not going to give her the satisfaction of thinking that she accomplished what she wanted. I don’t know what her goals were, but I don’t think they were positive or kind.”

In her interview with the Daily Dish, Shannon Beador reveals that David himself has told his mother to back off. This drama between Beador and her mother-in-law isn’t something new that surfaced after David had an affair. This is something that has been going on for a while, and even David tried to put an end to it all by asking his mother to stop hurting his family. She explains that her husband wrote a text message to his mother, telling her that he was done with everything.

“Done. You have hurt my family. You’ve hurt me by doing this, and I can’t have you continue on like this,” Shannon Beador explains about the text message that David sent to his mother a while back, adding, “My relationship has been volatile with my in-laws from the beginning. I have to respect my husband. He’s put between a rock and a hard place.”
