Ariana Grande Blasted For Charging $700 For Meet & Greets On ‘Dangerous Woman Tour’

Ariana Grande is being put on blast for charging hundreds of dollars for meet and greet opportunities on her upcoming 2017 “Dangerous Woman Tour.”

Grande announced a number of ticket packages for her upcoming string of shows on September 19, which included various ticket options and VIP packages that would cost fans between $325 and $699.

According to The Q Arena, fans hoping to meet Ariana on her “Dangerous Woman Tour,” which is set to kick off in February, will have to pay $699 for Grande’s top tour package, the “Dangerous Woman Ultimate Bkstg VIP Meet & Greet Experience.”

The almost $700 meet and greet package, which is set to go on sale this week, includes a meet and greet experience with Ariana as well as a slew of other treats from the star including a “premium reserved ticket in the first five rows,” a tour of the production area prior to the show and a number of exclusive merchandise.

Grande’s other “Dangerous Woman Tour” packages, which do not include meet and greet opportunities, were also pretty pricy, setting fans back between $350 and $599.

Ariana’s fans were quick to put Grande on blast for the seriously costly VIP tour tickets, slamming the star for pricing out many of her young fans.

“I’m so sad Ariana I thought I was gonna meet you but [tickets are] so expensive,” @MayaReichek tweeted Grande of her tour prices, while @thinkingbcutycu wrote on the social media site, “I’m so disappointed in how expensive the meet and greet tickets are. I love Ariana but she is a pop star, not a princess. This sucks.”

Ariana Grande’s fans were also quick to put Grande on blast for the price of her standard “Dangerous Woman Tour” tickets, which Ticketmaster is listing as being priced between $25.20 and $195.20, not including tax and extra booking fees.

“Why is it so expensive like last time I paid like 50 dollars for really good seats and now it is from 30 (bad seats) to 200 (good seats)????” Grande fan @AriByArianaGr asked on social media, while Twitter user @revivaIftbieber added, “This is only Ariana’s second international tour and the prices are so expensive.”

“I always thought Ariana’s tour would be more affordable,” @ewancosh tweeted in response to Grande’s tour ticket price reveal, “but I’m disappointed by her expensive prices.”

The tour meet and greet backlash comes just days after Grande took to Twitter to announce the “Dangerous Woman Tour” pre-sale and also confirmed that further dates, which are expected to include international shows, are currently still being “nailed down” by her team.

Ariana first revealed that she would be hitting the road to tour once again during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month, where Grande revealed the U.S. leg of the “Dangerous Woman Tour” for the very first time.

“I can’t wait to get on the road again,” Ariana said of her upcoming tour on the late night show. “There will be more dates coming, but for now, I just had to get something because [of] my fans. I promised them. I’m a little late.”

Currently, Ariana’s 2017 “Dangerous Woman Tour” has 36 dates scheduled around North America between February 2 and April 14, with more tour dates expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
