Bristol Palin Says Her Mom Is Way Hotter Than Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore may have won an Emmy for her portrayal of the controversial former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin in HBO’s Game Change, but the real former governor’s daughter, Bristol, doesn’t really see the appeal.

Bristol didn’t exactly hand Moore’s interpretation of her mother her blessing, mostly because of how she looks. “I don’t think she’s a good interpreter of my mom. I think my mom’s way hotter than that,” 21-year-old Bristol told Us Weekly. “She doesn’t have that accent. It’s all kind of silly,” she continued. “My mom’s awesome.”

The 51-year-old actress received much critical acclaim for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in the HBO made-for-TV movie that chronicled John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign including his selection of the controversial Palin as his running mate.

Bristol, who is currently appearing on Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars, wasn’t alone in her damnation of the film. The entire Palin family, as well as John McCain, criticized the film.

Moore herself didn’t seem all that bothered by Palin’s criticism of her portrayal, mocking the former Alaskan governor during her Emmy acceptance speech:

“Wow. I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs-down,” she chided.

Game Change also took home an Emmy for Best Overall Miniseries/TV movie, Best Directing, and Best Writing, reports MSN.

Bristol is making headlines elsewhere thanks to her Dancing With the Stars return. Most media outlets have remarked that Palin the younger is looking good these days, and she attributes it to “doing some cardio and cutting the crap out of my diet.”

We have to ask, do you think that Sarah Palin is hotter than Julianne Moore?
