Jimmy Kimmel, Kristen Chenoweth, Steve Harvey, and several other comedians will be on hand this October to help Ellen DeGeneres celebrate the Kennedy Center’s annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

According to the Washington Post, Ellen will receive her award on October 22. The show will air on PBS on October 30th.

In addition to Kimmel, Harvey, and Chenoweth, Ellen will receive tributes from Sean Hayes, John Krasinkski and Jason Mraz and Lily Tomlin.

The Mark Twain award was first handed out in 1998. Comic legends like Richard Pryor, Billy Crystal, and Whoopi Goldberg have received the prestigious award. When it was announced earlier this year that Ellen would be receiving the award, Degeneres said:

“It’s such an honor to receive the Mark Twain Prize. To get the same award that has been given to people like Bill Cosby, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell, it really makes me wonder . . . why didn’t I get this sooner?”

Ellen broke new comedic ground in the 1990s when her sitcom Ellen featured a lesbian character. Since then, she’s authored a bestselling book, won several American Comedy Awards, 12 People’s Choice Awards and her show Ellen has won 38 Daytime Emmy Awards.
