Gwen Stefani Joins Blake Shelton On Stage For Surprise Duet Performance Of ‘Go Ahead And Break My Heart’

Blake Shelton’s fans were given a special treat by Gwen Stefani Friday night during the “Lonely Tonight” singer’s concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Stefani, 46, was backstage cheering Blake on and recording his entire concert via Periscope before the big surprise.

“Hi Minnesota Gx,” Gwen captioned an Instagram photo of herself while lounging on Blake Shelton’s tour bus just before heading to the Xcel Energy Center.

The crowd just about lost it as soon as Stefani appeared and joined Shelton onstage, ET Online reports. And as is always the case between the two, love was running thick in the air. The duo performed their duet single, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” giving the crowd a performance they’ll never forget.

To top it off, Shelton stepped off stage to give his beau the limelight as she performed her iconic 2004 hit “Hollaback Girl.”

The performances can be enjoyed on social media thanks to a handful of fans who were kind enough to share videos on Instagram.

An Instagram user who goes by the name _cynthiiaarm provided an up-close video of Stefani and Shelton’s unforgettable performance.

“This???? is????s she was like super close to us ?? I just wanted to get up and hug her and like tell her that she makes my daughter and I happy just by looking at her, hearing her music awww I can’t I’m emotional right now it was an awesome concert,” she captioned.

Friday night’s performance at the Xcel Center isn’t the first time Gwen and Blake have made a surprise appearance in each other’s respective shows. Last month, Shelton surprised Stefani’s fans when he appeared onstage during her concert in Detroit, Michigan.

During Shelton’s hometown concert in Oklahoma City a week ago, Gwen took the stage to perform their duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” in front of an extremely appreciative crowd. Gwen went at it again during Blake’s Thursday night show at the nearly sold-out Peoria Civic Center arena.

If their surprise duet performances are any indication, the chemistry between Gwen and Blake remains strong as ever as the two couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other. You can easily tell just by looking at their body language and the way they look at each other’s eyes.

As everybody should already know by now, Stefani and Shelton’s PDA moments aren’t limited to their shows, as the two have been gushing over each other in social media since they hooked up last year.

The Voice co-hosts have recently taken their romance to the next level as Stefani and Shelton are set to be married at the end of the year, as previously reported by The Inquisitr.

“[They] want to get married before the end of the year,” a source explained. “They are both very, very happy. Blake is having the time of his life with Gwen and feels so comfortable around her.”

Shelton, who is planning a backyard wedding, is reportedly building a massive lakeside mansion for the “What You Waiting For” hitmaker. The couple has also hired a celebrity wedding planner. Stefani and Shelton reportedly want their wedding to be “low-key.”

“It would likely be at Blake’s ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn’t really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together,” the source said. “Gwen has said they both want something more low-key than their first weddings.”

On top of wedding rumors, Blake and Gwen have been facing pregnancy rumors for months. But the “Hollaback Girl” singer crushed the pregnancy rumors back in May by throwing shade at tabloid headlines that reported they were having twins.

That said, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to many if the two eventually plan on expanding their family. For one, Shelton has developed an excellent relationship with Stefani’s kids.
