Mark Hamill Reportedly Tried To Force His Son’s Former Porn Star Ex-Girlfriend To Get An Abortion

Mark Hamill is known around the world for iconic roles like Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise, and the voice of The Joker in the animated world of Batman. He’s not really a stranger to anyone, even though he appears to stay out of the spotlight for negative reasons. Well, he’s stepping into it now as his son’s former-adult film star ex-girlfriend is saying that Hamill tried to force her to have an abortion.

According to the NY Post, 30-year-old Maegen Chen was once dating Hamill’s 37-year-old son, Nathan, but they have since split up. Chen is said to be pregnant by Nathan and she has a daughter due on Halloween.

Chen is suing in a California court so that paternity of her daughter can be fully established. She is also seeking to collect child support from Nathan Hamill, but there is so much more to this whole story. Chen has stated that things are much uglier than just her attempting to get child support from the Hamill family.

She claims that Mark Hamill and his entire family tried pressuring her for months and months to get an abortion and terminate the pregnancy. Chen also states that the family wasn’t just looking out for her best interest, but they were quite vicious about the whole situation.

“Mark Hamill told me that I shouldn’t bring a child into the world that nobody wants.”

Back in the spring of this year, Chen met with Mark Hamill when she was staying with the family in London where Star Wars: Episode VIII was being filmed. It was then that Mark reportedly told her that his son, Nathan, “is not ready to be a father” and that the pregnancy should be terminated.

Chen stated that she felt a lot of pressure from the family and that “nobody” ever asked her what she wanted to do. An appointment with a London specialist was even set up by Marilou, Mark’s wife, to discuss the abortion with Chen.

Obviously, Chen did not go to the appointment and ended up breaking up with Nathan shortly after returning from London. She first thought the appointment was for an ultrasound.

The couple originally met on Tinder, according to Daily Mail, and they had their first date on New Year’s Eve of 2015. Maegen Chen, is now working as a model in Las Vegas, and learned that she was pregnant just three months after they started dating.

Upon letting Nathan Hamill know of the pregnancy, he pleaded with her to get an abortion and she took medication which was supposed to terminate it. The pills didn’t end up working and Chen says that caused her then-boyfriend to lean on her even more.

He even told her that they wouldn’t “hang out anymore” if she kept the baby.

Chen claims that the family believes she is just on a “money making endeavor” and looking for a hand-out. The Hamill family has not had any comment on the matter, as of yet, and likely won’t say anything until the situation is resolved in one way or another.

Maegen Chen’s relationship with Nathan Hamill wasn’t a bad one until she ended up pregnant and that was where things took a turn. While she is seeking child support from him, it’s clear that she wants the world to know that Mark Hamill and the rest of the family were doing whatever possible to get her to have an abortion. The now-retired adult film star decided against that and it has since waged a war.
