Best Buy Slashing HDTV Prices This Week

Best Buy must be getting ready for Football season as the electronics retailer has “announced” plans (through a leaked flyer) to cut prices on their HDTV’s this coming week. The cuts according to the flyer will be available on televisions larger than 39 inches.

Best Buy has 33 HDTV models on sale according to the August 30th circular, with several higher end Samsung LCDs taking off as much as $1100 per set.

The circular also points to some very nice stereo packages with BluRay, including one package that’s $1500 off regular pricing.  [HDGuru]
