Drake, Rihanna Only Friends, Says His Dad — Chris Brown Happy?
The fact that Drake and Rihanna are dating is not even news anymore. What is causing a lot of noise now is that Drake’s dad claims that Rihanna and Drake are really just friends.
“They’re friends, they’ve been friends for years,” Dennis Graham told TMZ. Dennis Graham also rubbished rumors of Drake and Rihanna settling down. “I don’t know about settling down. No, they’re friends. There’s no relationship, they’re friends,” he said. Well, looking at the history of Rihanna-Drake relationship, it’s not surprising that the “just friends” status still follows them.
The Inquisitr had quoted Life & Style magazine as saying that Drake doesn’t really have time for serious relationships. “She’s got love for Drake,” an insider said. “But he’s made his bed several times and has proven to her that he’s not ready for anything serious.” Does that mean there is nothing serious brewing between Rihanna and Drake?
Well, according to certain other sources, Drake is a changed person after he started dating Rihanna. He’s very serious about his relationship with Rihanna and maintains his distance from other women.
“All those women that flock to his trailer, bus and VIP sections to be with him are seeing a changed man,” Hollywood Life has quoted Life & Style as saying. The singer reportedly “closed off the VIP section” at a club and he “told bouncers not to let any women in,” the publication reported. It doesn’t look like Drake is taking it easy this time around.
Not just that. The Hollywood Life also quoted Life & Stylemagazine as saying that the couple even wants to have kids together. Well, given the kind of dedication the two have towards their relationship, it doesn’t seem unbelievable that the two would want to talk about kids.
“Rihanna really has the mommy urge, and Drake is completely on board with the idea,” the source told Life & Style magazine. “They’ve talked about how cute their kids would be. They know they’ll be forever linked if they have a child, and they are ok with that.”
The Hollywood Gossip has said that Drake and Rihanna are probably going to be married soon. The couple is planning their marriage in Barbados. “They’ve been talking about marriage for a while, and Rihanna has been gushing about becoming ‘Mrs. Graham,'” an insider says.
And it’s not just the fact that the two are getting married that has been made public, but the venue as well.
“They want to fly guests in via private jet,” explains the insider.
“They’re looking into holding the ceremony at the Sandy Lane Hotel, which is the most exclusive place on the island.” Rumor has it that Rihanna is also going to have three costume changes on the wedding day. If all the details have been worked out then what are the two love-birds waiting for?
While things are heating up between Drake and Rihanna, it looks like Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown isn’t exactly happy with it.
The Inquisitr had quoted Hollywood Life as saying that Chris Brown isn’t really happy with the news of Rihanna and Drake’s wedding. Chris Brown believes Rihanna and he are soulmates and he can’t stomach the fact that she is dating Drake.
“Yeah, right. Chris ain’t buying that for a minute. He doesn’t believe for a second that his soulmate would tie the knot with her long-term side piece. Chris loves Rihanna and he’d be deeply hurt and go out of his mind if she even considered being off the market in this way. Drake’s just a pinch hitter until Chris is mentally and emotionally ready to step up to the plate and whisk Rihanna off her feet.”
