Drake’s Tour Bus Robbed, Drake And Kanye West Finally Confirm Collaboration

Drake’s tour bus has recently been robbed of $3 million worth of jewelry, according to Rolling Stone magazine. In fact, Arizona State University police have already arrested a man linked to the robbery.

The tour bus was robbed during Drake’s performance at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, last Tuesday night. And as early as the next morning, the suspect, Travion King, was arrested by Arizona State University police.

King was reportedly arrested while trespassing on the college’s Tempe campus, and he had the jewelry in his possession. The expensive jewelry, which Drake claims belongs to his DJ, Future the Prince, was in a briefcase on the tour bus.

Police suspect that it was a targeted and intentional robbery since the pattern of the crime suggests that King knew the lower section of Drake venue’s garage area, where the busses were located. Police also added that King had previously worked at the site.

But Drake isn’t too upset about the robbery, as he’ll earn millions of dollars from his collaboration with Kanye West, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. The “Famous” rapper has recently announced his collaboration with the 29-year-old “One Dance” rapper on a new album.

Drake is currently on his “Summer Sixteen Tour” with rapper Future and had his three-night gig at Los Angeles’ Staples Center from Wednesday through Friday. Although the album has no release date yet, the official confirmation that the album is in the works is enough for fans to stay excited.

However, some fans believe that the album could be released later this year since both Drake and West released their latest albums this year, and working on a collaborative album usually takes less time and effort compared to working on a solo album.

In his recent interview with Vogue, while promoting his latest fashion collection Yeezy Season 4, Kanye West revealed that he is working with Drake on new music.

“We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio.”

But West wouldn’t be West without teasing his fans and added that there are some exciting things coming up soon. The news about West and Drake’s collaboration comes several months after rumors first surfaced on the internet.

But West kind of confirmed the rumors last month when he made a surprise appearance during Drake’s OVO Festival performance in Toronto and asked the crowd, “Y’all ready for this album?”

Just recently, mysterious billboards appeared all over Los Angeles, with Kanye West’s GOOD Music record label logo along with Drake’s OVO logo on it, and social media realized immediately that it’s happening.

However, Yeezy doesn’t have the release date for his collaborative album with Drake yet. In fact, neither Drake nor West are strangers to album collaborations with prominent hip-hop artists. In 2011, Yeezy collaborated with Jay Z on their Watch the Throne album.

And just last year, Drake dropped his What a Time to be Alive mixtape with Future. West also talked about his latest Yeezy Season 4 fashion collection, which debuted at New York Fashion Week last week.

While West’s collaboration with Drake has already received overwhelming praise from his fans, his fashion collection received mixed reviews. But West himself thinks his collection has “pieces that can be timeless.”

“Pieces that you can pick up out of a vintage store in 20 years and say, ‘Wow, I’m happy I have this.'”

In fact, the rapper is excited not only about his collaboration with Drake and his Yeezy Season 4 collection, but also about his idea to start a children’s clothing line. The “Famous” rapper said the creations made by himself and his wife Kim Kardashian West for their two kids have inspired him to launch his potentially huge new fashion project.

“We’ve had to make all these clothes from scratch for North and for Saint.”
